Do you plan to join the military and if so what branch?

i do. i plan to join the airforce as a fighter pilot hopefully, after my great uncles footsteps. i give him a salute right now for his bravery and courage. in fact i give my thanks to all service men and women. sadly my great uncle was shot down in ww2 and spent about a year in a japanese POW camp before dieing of diesease. Anyway will u join the military. Why, and what branch?.  oh and if those japanese soldiers are still alive thanks a ton :(  

I respect men who join the army but Its just not for me. If I had to choose it would be Special Ops

I have been thinking about joining the Marines when I graduate from high school next year, but I am definitly not in any shape to do so right now. 

I'm working on joining right now all i need is my GED and i'm in. I'm joining the army.

Special Ops isn't a branch you can just join its: Army, Marines, Navy, National Guard and reserve for all of them I believe.

I am in the Navy. So I would join the Navy. To any of you who think you could just join a "special ops" program, good luck with that, there not special for nothing. Its hard as shit to make the spec-ops, most deaths in any armed force spec-op happen during there training.

US military is a volunteer army so everyone who shuns the US military like it is somehow forced are big time dumbasses.  You don't want to serve, then don't.  Simple.

Well actually I do, it is either full time volunteering (but it is forced... but you don't get paid so let's keep it at that), life in prison or having the option to choose between the Navy, Airforce, Army and Borderguard...

No, but I'd choose the "Sit around and avoid the draft" branch.

I want to get in the academy 0.0. That is my goal for college.
But that will be very very hard :P

army for me. I hope to make rangers but thats really fucking hard.
