Do you prefer a desk chair with armrests or no armrests?

 Personally, I prefer not to have armrests because I feel they just get in my way. I recently took the armrests off my chair and it feels way better now. I think I would like it if I had really low armrests, but for now I just prefer to not have them at all. 
 
How does Giant Bomb feel about this important issue?

It just depends.  Most of the time they're fine, quite comfortable.  But when I really get into something, I tend to not pay attention to whether there's armrests or not, so I put the "I don't really care" option even though that's not quite true.

I love and have armrests (my chair is the most comfortable chair ever ever ever). However, I often like to play guitar while sitting at my computer, so there is definitely a compromise being made here. What I could do is remove the right armrest and leave the left one intact, but I'm not sure that it would be comfortable anymore after that.

I like armrests, unless it's the same chair I use to play Rock Band drums. In that case arms just won't do.

No armrests only if I'm working with audio, and have to use headphones. Then they really get in the way. Honestly I should just get some wireless ones. Otherwise love armrests.

As a man who just recently got a chair with armrests, I have to say they make it 2000% better.

It depends on the desk.

I'd love a chair with armrests or some kind of recliner to use at my desk. I'm using this small office chair right now and it's the most uncomfortable thing ever. I have to use my laptop in my bed after an hour because the chair makes my back all sore. 

If it's a wooden or plastic chair, no.

I play Guitar a lot so Armrests just get in the way of productivity.

I've been using an old computer chair with wooden armrests for a year and as a result of leaning on my funny bone I've now gotten cubital tunnel syndrome :( So I definitely am against armrests

I also think they get in the way so I prefer chairs with no armrests. I'm a weird, awkward and restless sitter and I don't want anything to limit my positioning. If I want to rest my arms I do it on the table or put a pillow in my lap.
