Yes, only when I'm nervous, calms my nerves. I probably haven't even gone through a whole pack, so not that I'm a pack a day guy nor do I want to be, but I don't buy into the smoking is the devil, avoid it like the plague bull.
I was at least a pack a day for nearly 5 years, before that I was off and on for about three or four years. Then I quit for an entire year. It never crossed my mind. I mean, I totally did it. Then, I fell back into the habit last year. I'm not regular like I used to be, but now I smoke when I'm upset, nervous or drinking (which is more often than it should be).
I don't smoke but unfortunately a lot of my family do and some of my friends as well. And I am always after them to quit, I have seen them try and it is hard but I am sure if your a smoker and you really want to give up, you can do it.
Nope, never have and never will. It just grosses me out. Several of my family members and friends smoke though, and I am always harping on them to quit. Such a nasty habit.

I think if someone chooses to smoke then people should just let them be, I can understand though how some people can get annoyed ciggerettes can have a very strong smell. My girlfriend said she feels sick whenever shes around them. I stopped for her but personally I kinda miss it.

It's addicting, I would miss it too. The only reason I do that though is people don't give two shits if someone is walking behind them, thus blowing heaps of smoke carelessly and walking slow as hell. It pisses me off, so I pick up my pace and walk past them with my hand over my mouth.
lol thats funny cause a smoker infront of me flicked theres butt and nailed my shirt (burned it a bit). And it was addicting but no as addicting as the commercials and warning make it out to be. I miss going out with friends having a smoke, cause now when they go I dont cause I know ill just be tempted. It was more a social thing, I know there are other things to do to be social but thats just what my friends do
i smoke occasionally, outside (i live in philly so we're all growing pretty accustom to it these days. it sucks really bad in the winter when you go to bars though!). always smoke when i drink too, so its like a habit. ill never be addicted to it, but if i ever become a detective like i plan to i definitely might have to take that back lol

You have a point. But what if someone doesn't realize exactly what they are doing? Some people are smart enough to know the consequences, but some aren't. Also if other people inconsiderately blow smoke in my face, I'm not going to sit there passively.

God, I hate the people who think smoking is "cool". If you see someone like that, I give you permission to punch them.
I've probably gone through about a carton of cigs in the last 6 years, and about $20 worth of GOOD cigars. Lately when I've had cravings i go for Djarum Black kreteks, which despite being gay as hell, don't make me smell as bad, don't make me cough as much, and get me mad brownie points when i let people (re chicks i work with) bum one.
No. Smoking killed my grandma(lung cancer), and my grandpa(brain, lung, and testicular cancer that all originated in the lungs and spread). I dip though. Love Copenhagen but it's too expensive so I buy Red Seal
