For anyone that does smoke, there are those electronic water vapor cigarettes with nicotine now that could help you quit. One of my family members uses one.

Actually I'm 16. It's pretty usual for people in my country(Portuga) to start smoking at 13 although I only started this year. And 3 cigarrettes, not 3 packs.
I've smoked for about a year or so, and I tend to smoke Level, because they're cheaper. However, today I've said to myself that I'm going to quit, so I had my last (hopefully) a few hours ago. With that said, I have tried before and failed, I've gone like a week or so without smoking. But like I said, here's hoping it'll stick this time!
Oh, forgot to add how much a day. It varies, but mostly roughly half a pack a day. When I'm out at a party or event or whatever, I can easily smoke a pack a a day.
@Emandudeguyperson: It seems they vaporize tobacco instead of using combustion like one would do when they smoke something. This is supposedly a way to get the most active ingredient out of herbs while leaving most of the "bad stuff" (tars, most scent, etc...) in the plant.

A lot of people smoke on continental Europe, I've no idea why but they just do. The French smoke a lot, the Germans not so much.
No, cigarette smoke gives me nausea, and I actually lose an appetite when people are smoking around me. Honestly, who the fuck smokes on a school bus? You want to smoke, that's totally fine. Do it at your own convenience, not in the public.

True. Portugal and France are probably where people smoke more heavily and where they start earlier.

I totally agree. In Portugal it's against the law to smoke pretty much in anyplace that is closed.

Anyways, they are basically like the nicotine chewing gum except the nicotine is in the water vapor or something. I don't know the specifics but it looks like you are blowing smoke when you are really exhaling the water vapor so they are pretty neat. (not that I would ever need one) :P

I had a hunch it was my post you had misread. If you'd read what came after the comma in the same sentence you'd see I was talking about the image of a cigarette making me gag. From that context (again, in the very same sentence) it would be safe to assume I was talking about "just looking at" cigars. Notice I never once mentioned health or risk.
It is my hope that I will never smoke. My mom is a good mom, but it is annoying when she smokes in the car. She said that her New Years Resolution for 2010 will be to stop smoking.
Anyways, I know the risks, and I will never smoke. Ever. It makes me sad to see teenagers around high schools smoking. Idiots.
Though I do not smoke, I do not waste my time trying to suffocate people with some silly sense of moral obligation stop smoking. We all have individual rights and we act on them accordingly.
I actually do not know when or how it became ethically acceptable to bully people about their decision to use tobacco products.
Yeah usually like once a month. Pretty much only when I'm at a party drinking, or when I'm chilling with friends, or if I have had a long day. But definitely not on a regular basis.
Oh and usually Camel, Turkish Royals, or we'll get some cigars. Occaisonally hookah, but yeah I don't do it all that much. More of a social thing than anything.
No, I can't stand smokers and I really want to avoid that problem myself. Lots of people in my extended family smoke and you can really tell it's horrible.
Nope, but I'll tell you this right now, in fact I'll tell you it free of charge; if I ever win the lottery, I'm totally gonna start smoking so that people will think I'm cool. My logic is perfect.
Nope. Never will. I actually can't even stand to see people smoke. It's incredibly unattractive to me and ruined a couple of "first dates" before I got together with my girlfriend.
Nnnnnnnnope....have tryed before but it never appealed me to shorten my lifespan for some odd reason...so i easily past the idea of giving myself the habit
