Do you still own a record player?

I heard from somewhere that newer records sound better than CD's, which I am pretty sure is wrong. Then again I am not an audiophile so I would not know. I don't own one and I am thinking of maybe getting one, but is it worth the price?

I have one, but it's really old. It works though. I love records. I'm sure the newer models are way better and you can usually get any album on record still.

audiohpiles say this because its completely analog, so its like a physical copy of the actual sound. i dunno if you really understand me, but wiki it if you dont get it but are still interested. and no, i dont have one, since its way before my time and both my parents were pretty poor around the time records were in use.

My dad has one that broke, but he'll probably get another one. He has a ton of albums. I really got into music going through his albums and playing the tunes.
