Do you use a screensaver?

@wrecks: I think you just convinced me to use a screensaver again.

The screensavers I'm making have dual-screen functionality, so you can have them mirrored across multiple monitors.

I'm into it, anyway.

Stupidly wasteful, just have the screen lock and turn off after 10 minutes of non-use. As mentioned above, screensavers can actually mess with games and apps and whatnot because they themselves are actual things. If you just turn the screen off the game won't know or care, AND you're actually saving your screen.

Nope. Modern LCD screens are much harder to 'burn in" and given the fluid GUI nature of most programs today the NEED for a screen saver as opposed to just a screen lock is way long past. You don't get DOS commands burned into your screen anymore.

I checked out your screensaver tumblr and it looks pretty cool. I was wondering if you could release them as .wmv's for Dreamscene use?
