As the topic states, which GB members visit the gym regularly. I live near a gym called Cosmos, it's the kind of gym you'd see in such films as Rocky but it's a proper Bodybuilders gym. Get a good work out there.
Do you visit the gym regularly?
We got a fitness center thingie in the city shaped like a bloody ufo (it's suspended on the flat buildings next to it).
I've been there, but should go more actually but it's pretty boring to go alone.
I just take long bike rides instead!
I walk about 2km to school everyday, which includes walking past the pool/gym/track/soccer field/squash rooms/weight room/ basketball courts, etc. Then after class I walk past it again on my way back home. I don't go to the gym, I exercise on my way past the gym.
Yep, every morning. The office is good enough to provide a really good gym, much better than most gyms out there.
I start my workout with a run to the office from home then do some weights, sit-ups and shadow boxing then shower up for work. And the gym is all quiet in the morning, gives a guy time to think.
When I visit the gym, I make sure to bring my disguise and video-camera-sunglasses.
Err, I mean no, I don't visit the gym regularly.
" I want to start going to the gym, really I do...but, they make you run and stuff. =[ "What? No one makes you do anything. It's a gym not a session ran by a person telling you to do stuff.
And yes, I do, 4-5 times a week.
" Who needs a gym? I run, do push ups, sit ups, pull ups, and chin ups without the place. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't. "This. Gyms are pointless if you have a good workout.
Glasgow Uni has a pretty good fitness complex, a years membership is £40 so I tend to go around three times a week. It's really handy for killing time to avoid busy train times or to make later cinema times.
" no but i have some 20 pound dumbells that i bought. i work out with those. i don't go to the gym, i get a little nervous around people. "Hahaha
I bet you're getting pretty swole with those 20's.
I'm there Monday - Friday. Weights, running, and/or swimming.
5 days a week, 2 hours a day!
Usually only during the summer months when I have time and a gym membership. This will all change after graduating University this year. Huzzah!
No, I don't go to the gym because they keep failing and shutting down whenever one opens up near my home. I have built a home gym that's pretty sweet though. Nautilus Rack + Olympic Weights set (with cable system), 130p Powerblocks, Weighted Jump Rope, EZ-Curl Bar, Chin-Up Bar that fits in my door frame, and a Wrestling Mat (well, it's not an official wrestling mat, it's made of the same material, it's just a little smaller).
I tend to pick up something for my gym every several months.
Fortunately for me I have the beautiful Pinellas Trail 2 blocks from my house to run on. :)
Usually jog with 10lb free weights in each hand or I'll walk with a 25lb backpack.
No, starting P90X on Monday though. Two and a half lazy ass years out of a stringent military college really caught up with me...
" @iam3green said:i'm huge, i get all the ladies ;)" no but i have some 20 pound dumbells that i bought. i work out with those. i don't go to the gym, i get a little nervous around people. "Hahaha I bet you're getting pretty swole with those 20's. I'm there Monday - Friday. Weights, running, and/or swimming. "
i got a little bit of muscle growing. i haven't worked out in a couple of weeks because it's hot to workout.
I tried that a while back and it damn near killed me. Well, thats an overstatement, but if you are looking to shed fat you can't get much better without hiring a personal trainer.
I don't intend to ever pay to exercise. Do you know how many exercises you can do with just a sledgehammer and a big ass tire? Not to mention everything you can do with your own body weight.
I don't live in a town large enough for a gym, but I have a treadmill that I use regularly, as well as dumbbells that I should probably use more more than once a decade.
yeah I go daily because we have a pretty awesome gym at college, and I practice football (soccer) too. but I got injuried last week so I haven't been active lately. :(
I'm trying to get buffed this summer so I go to the gym every day and it's Extreme Fitness in Thornhill if anyone lives around there lol.
