What? No.
Do you want to have a baby sometime?
I would rather write a great novel, design a great game, or record a great album. No time for chilluns.
Absolutely. I grew up helping my mother babysit and I took care of my younger siblings, so it's nothing new to me. I'm 35, BTW.
I like kids because they keep me occupied, and I get bored easily.
I don't want a child or several children right now at all (I am 23), but I do want to have children at some point down the line, probably later 20s, early 30s methinks.
If I met the right lady maybe, but generally speaking no. Overlooking my family's long history of health problems that the kid will no doubt inherent, the world is getting worse and worse every passing day with no sign of it getting better any time soon. Why would any sane person want to bring a child into a world that's going to have to grow up through that? I will be 25 this September.
I have a six year old and he kicks ass. Actually, sort of literally. He destroys me in Street Fighter, never fails.

If you're serious, that's a very interesting statement.
Everyone has always thought the world is getting worse with each passing year. Hell, even Plato said:If I met the right lady maybe, but generally speaking no. "What is happening to our young people? They disrespect their elders, they disobey their parents. They ignore the law.
They riot in the streets inflamed with wild notions. Their morals are decaying. What is to become of them?"
Yes, a daughter, but only because I want to name her Arya. That's a pretty weak reason though, so I guess the real answer is no.
Let me answer this for everyone who doesn't have children: yesno.
Thats right, sometimes having kids is great, like when they learn something new and look to make sure you were watching or when they show off their mad lightsaber skills. Or invent and sing their own song.
Other times, like when your 4 year old gets really bad diarrhea and fires extra stinky liquid poo all over your living room carpet, you think "why the fuck did I have kids!!"
Its a real mixed bag. Overall, I love my kids and can't picture my life without them. If they didn't exist though, I'd be fucking loaded!

maybe one day I definitly want to share my knowledge with one of my kids but right now I should just try to get a girlfriend first, by the way I'm 17
Eventually, I do. Not anytime soon. I'm 20 years old right now. Got too many things I want to do and too many things I should do before I think about having children. You don't want to bring a kid into the world while unprepared (or as prepared as you can be for that sort of thing). My parents had me around this age and even though I turned out alright (probably through sheer force of will), I'm gonna try and do things differently. But I love the idea of having kids. I don't really know why.

Especially in North America. Maybe we're in some financial trouble, the U.S. anyway. But statistically, this is a pretty damn safe time to raise a child.
That's a tough question to answer since usually there has to be more than one person involved in both the process and the decision.
But right now and anytime soon, no.
Each their own. I just know that in my area things have been getting worse every year. We never used to have any serious robberies, murders, assaults, rapes etc where I live, but in the last 5-10 years it went from nothing to a yearly occurrence, to it now happening several times a year. I'm not claiming I lived in paradise, but it's a small town thing and this stuff just never used to happen. Now every time I check the local news all I see is some one getting raped, murdered or robbed once or twice a month.@crusader8463 said:

I know a couple local RCMP that are family friends, and they themselves have said it's a much different place doing their patrols then what it was several years ago. They never once had to worry about their own personal safety when they went on patrols, and now they never know what's going to be out there. It used to be that all they did was the occasional speeding ticket or to lock off a scene of a car accident. Now they are having people pull knives on them, attack them, and one guy even had someone send an attack dog on him and he had to pull his gun to kill the dog or he would have been mauled to death.
I realize those are isolated incidents, but every where I look it's just bad things after bad things. Until I can personally feel some kind of hope for the future being a better place, I just feel that it wouldn't be responsible bringing a life into this world. That's just me.
Plus, my life is a complete mess and I can't even look after myself let alone another human being.
