Do you work, if so, in what.
Do you go to school. If so, what are you studying.
Me.
No work for now. I used to work on the weekends for a buddy of mine on his mirrors, paintings, and framing business.
Right now Im only focusing on school though. Im studing engineering. Its hard. Lots of math, physics, programing and all that stuff. I've been thinking of getting a job, but I would need to find one that doesnt interfere with school too much.
Do you work ,do you go to school, or all of the above
- Work at GameStop but need to find a new job. I average 4-5 hours a week.
- I go to community college taking general education courses. This semester I have Japanese, English 101, and Col 101 (which is a very stupid class). Next semester I have English 102, Speech 101, Japanese, and maybe Drawing 101 if I follow-through. My major, I'm still undecided, will most likely be a form of animation. Hopefully 3D so I can work on games.
I go to school and work on campus after classes.
Edit: I'm currently studying web design in school. I will graduate next spring.
Being your own boss. Thats nice.
Im sure you get pretty bussy, but it must be hard to decide what time you should use for playing games knowing the business depends on you.
Then again, you might be making good use of slow days by taking your console or gaming pc to your workplace.
Job hunting is really hard right now. But Im sure it also depends on where you live.
You have to remember that there is always work to be done. But its up to you to show how bad you really want 2 work.
When someone says that there are no good jobs out there, they're just saying that there is nothing they want to do.
Afther your first job, you'll know the value of holding out for a good one, or holding on to the one you've got.
I work at a software company in Seattle, I'm a Network Administrator. It pays the bills and hobbies so I can't complain to much.
I'm finishing up my associates then going to university to get my bachelors in IT Management.

"South Jersey, and sixteen years of age. I've applied to McDonalds, both my local markets, my local drug store (with a gas station), and my local library. I'm banking on the opening Subway near me, my father knows the owner's wife. And he hired her for her job. Trust me man, I really want to work. I'm of staying home for the summer and doing chores assigned from my parents.
In College right now, studing for the qualification to go to Uni, and get a Masters Degree (like Majoring in America I guess?) in Music and Music Technology.
"I work at the university, as a network admin! I get free classes, it's pretty fly. For a white guy."20 cool points for that reference.
I go to high school and work at my local grocery store.
im in high school. i dont have a job yet but im also to busy for one right now (doing marching band and drivers ed) im hoping next summer to have a job.
U know. If you dont like to talk to people that much, you should consider engineering.
Im a verry social person, but I've meet alot of people at school that have as much social skills as they have tails (and trust me, they dont have tails).
Even though they're like that, they are doing ok at school. Good grades and all that stuff.
Plus. the line of work that most engineers do is really hard, and complicated. kinda makes your work a priority and doesnt leave much time for socializing.
"What? You get paod US $2000 working at a bowling hall. There are investment bankers jealous of your pay right now.I work at a Bowling hall.I get free bowling for 1 hour and 2,000 dollars for every week.
"

as for me, i work at a pizza hut at 8.50 an hour.
for the summer i work. for the job i delivery mail in an insurance company. it's a nice easy job. we take a truck with carts full of things.
during the rest of the year i go to community college studying multimedia. it's fun stuff doing that kind of thing. the bad thing is that idk what i'm going to be doing with the degree that i get in it.
Even though im studying engineering, Im not such a big fan of that stuff. Im doing it because my dad's an engineer, I think he kinda wanted one of us to become one. My older brother majored in something like business or something like that. I dont know. And my little Brother wants to go to med school when its time for him to choose a career. He just got in to high school though.
I'll tell you something I've learned at school. If you dont like what your doing. do something else.
If you dont know what your going to do afther you finish school, DO SOMETHING ELSE.
Remember that---- Given and ending, a story will write it self.
All you have to do is choose where you want to go in life. And regarless of how the journey plays out, you already know how its gonna end.
