Does my music taste make sense ?

Well usally poeple only listen to a few genres of music  but i listen to everything . Heavy metal , Trance , rap , EVERYTHING . That makes me very hard for people to have conversations involving music becuase i simply like all music . Right now i'm listening to in flames but on my shuffle list i have Tiesto . What about you guys ? Do you have odd tastes in music ?

Although I disagree with you on Hannah Montana, there is nothing wrong with your taste in music. I have all sorts of weird shit on my Zune.....I am sure most people do.

I love all music too... except for country. Goddamn I hate country. But, yeah, it isn't unusual to like everything from underground rap from the likes of Immortal Technique to the progressive metal like Blotted Science. That's how I roll.

I don't actuall listen to hannah monta i just put it there as a example of the randomness of my music tastes lol . But some of her songs are ok :)

It's not that unusual to enjoy many different types of music.  Once you get out of high school (if you aren't already), what others think of your taste has almost no impact on your listening habits.  Sure, sometimes your buds will chide you because you own a Hannah Montana album, but that's all good natured fun.  In reality, being able to enjoy many different styles of music will expand your horizons and open you to new ideas and cultures as a whole.  Embrace this asset of your personality.  Explore new music and see what else exists beyond what you are supposed to like. 

I listen to lots of stuff.  I enjoy rap country, classic rock, college rock, hip-hop, jazz, classical, folk, Gaelic, Jpop, etc..etc... and because of that, I can talk to people who have specific tastes as easily as someone who has diverse tastes.  Why would anyone seek to be closed-minded?  Because it's cool?  That group-thought identity limits personal growth, and that's not a good thing.

There is nothing wrong with liking a large variety of music.  I'm the same way.  I think it just makes finding music you enjoy easier, and you usually always have something somebody else will enjoy listening to as well.  It's not cheap though...

Just like whatever you like. Last week, the most played artists on my Last.fm were AFI, Miley Cyrus, Boxcutter, Thursday, Ferry Corsten, some stuff I can't remember and I don't give a fuck.

Although I do not have the extreme of Hannah Montana, I also like alot of different things. For many years I was purely a metal head, KSE, Megadeth, Metallica even Nile. And believed everything else was awfull, awfull music. However I believe that I was just in denial, and now I still very much love my metal, but I also like trance and even some Lilly Allen.

Well, mine doesnt either. I have Hiphop songs on my phone, but I also listen to the soundtrack of Persona 4. Damn you catchy J-pop

I like a wide variety of music (see mini bio for sampling) but I canNOT support Hannah Montana. Not one bit.

I think personally I can find songs I like in almost any genre. It's just that the vast majority of some genres I wont like, therefore I will generally tell people I don't like that music when that isn't entirely true. Anyways those are just my thoughts. Jeez I'm pumped for E3. It's like video game themed christmas!

I'm pretty sure people can like w/e kind of music they want. So therefore there is no such thing as a wierd taste in music.
