I wish I could just enjoy my days however I want to. How about you?
Does the pressure to make money in this world stress you out?
Hmm... no, it doesn't stress me out, but I guess working does kind of suck. It's very time consuming. I need to start doing my own gigs.
Sometimes.
It's not so much the pressure to make money but rather to always have it.
I had given up the idea long ago that I wanted a career based on the amount of money I would be making. Same with the idea of taking years of my life to get a "back-up" degree to ensure I won't become broke in life.
But as someone who is pretty poor and in college I can attest that there is a pressure to have money. Whether it's to throw down on some beer for a party or basic needs of life, money rules over a lot of things.
Personally, no. You shouldn't worry, though. I don't know how old you are, but you've got your whole life ahead of you, though that statement does not apply if you're over 50. Sorry, 50 year olds. You've got approximately a quarter of your life ahead of you, but that doesn't mean you can't make good use of that quarter! The glass is a quarter full, not three quarters empty.
Most of the times it does stress me awfully much, but then my shield recharges and I can take all that crap again for a while.
Meh, I say!
For me yes cause as a freelance illustrator I need to have a constant flow of clients to maintain my constant bills. :(
I dont get stressed from working. I just want time for me and my couple to enjoy together. The little we have, is great, but we wish we could have more.
Nevertheless, was it not for the time we are apart, cause of work, we could not be enjoying ourselves as we are.
Not really, you just need to find a job you like to do,and then hope you can advance in it,I mean why stress over things you don't have control over.
If this is about if you have kids then maybe, but if you have a partner that knows you'll do anything you can to provide for them and your children then I say try your best, and hope they understand.
No. My family has never really had that much money for a while (ever since my dad got sick), so any pressure to somehow make money myself never set it. The only reasons I want to make money is to make the people around me happy...
...and play video games.
It really stresses me out, partly because me and my family have little money right now and I'm trying to do a university course. It's not that I'm not willing to work hard, given the opportunity I'd like to spend my days studying computers, diligently programming and writing about video games but it looks like I'll need to find a job in the near future in an area where there aren't many jobs for someone my age up for grabs. After I finish university even making sure I get a job in the field I've studied in is going to be rather difficult.
Nah, I consider working a part of being alive. With the exception of the young, the elderly, the disabled, and the sick, if you're not working, then you're useless and you don't deserve to contribute to the planet's over population.
The title of this thread sounds like one of those questions in the "free" survey the Scientologist give.
