A few mods are needed but not many, the sites just launched and not everyone who has signed up is taking part in the website. I know a lot of people on Gamespot have made accounts just to reserve usernames which is somewhat pathetic in my opinion. So hopefully as time goes on the trolls will eventually just disappear or get their act together and be better at contributing to the community and GiantBomb as a whole.
Yes it does, it keeps the people in line and the TaC in use. I really hope that they dont get moderators who abuse power in the first draft. They need some mature people for sure, and they are really overwhelmed with the site, and poor people being the police is the worst thing that could happen. Being a part of GS so long and being good taught me that I like a well-kept board, but company owned sites cut off lots of free speech, which giant bomb is trying to reinstill. I like that
