Dog Names for the Game Jam

Hey duders, in preparation for the upcoming game jam happening in these parts, I want to as many dog names as I can get. The plan is to create a game all about chomping pups, ala Matt Rorie.

So, what are your pups names? Fictional names also allowed.

All the dogs I've ever had: Moka, Alix, Réglisse (french for licorice), Plume (french for Feather), Raoul.

If I buy a dog one day it'll be call either Lolita or Miss Daisy.

Abby, Spot, Lacy, Kira, Sebastian, Fluffy Puff, Kennedy, Charlie, Chuck, George, Lucy, Buddy, Wolfie, Wolf, Wolfgang, Brownie...heres a few. Some of them are names of dogs I've owned (Abby, Lacy, Kira, Sebastian, Wolfgang). The rest of ones I've heard of people naming their dogs.

Skippy, Doc, Ginny, Lurby, Wubby, and Ollie.

Edit: I don't actually have 6 dogs. Ginny and Ollie are current dogs, and the rest have passed.

I currently have two dogs, Cooper and Ziggy. Previous dogs have been Jackson and Maggie.

Dogs Bower is the dog for me.

If you're going for authenticity, I bet just browsing properly petting puppies will get you a nice haul of dog names that the man himself ran into.

thanks guys! @JackSukeru of course I will be using the petting pups properly names, I just wanted to make sure that the names wouldn't be repeated too often. the plan is to let people add their own pets names in the game, but you can't be too sure.

@sinusoidal I don't think there has been much movement about when it is starting, but I will be planning to get the game out at the end of the month even if the jam falls through. not officially starting on the project just yet though.

I really like human as hell sounding names for dogs. My girlfriend's dog is named Keith and I love it. Some of my favourite ideas include Gus, Dave, Neil, Michelle etc

For extra points name it an abstract sound only barely able to be transcribed with Latin symbols. This is a serious response, I think it would be cool to do.

My rottweiler's name was Jammer.

I've had dogs named Ace, Jack, and Snickers. This'll be off topic but I had a friend whose last name is Dockter name her cat Dr. Chocolate, which is a sweet name.

As a child I had a beagle named Hunter

Later I had a basset hound my mom and sister named Ginger, for no apparent reason. Still the most stubborn and intelligent pet I've ever owned, who was also the dumbest at the same time. I don't know how she pulled it off being brilliant one moment and dumb as a doorknob the next, maybe it was all a ploy.

Friend had a dog named Tippecanoe "Tippy" (his brother was named Tyler). It's the only dog I've known with a really distinct name.

My parents picked the names for all the dogs we've had and they're pretty mediocre. We've had Bonnie(passed) Whiskey (passed), Amy (recently passed), Lucy(who is nearly 16), Charlie(who we didn't name) and we look after my sisters dog Louie sometimes.

Honourable mention for our cat, the first animal I ever got to name, Golfarb.

If you want a little diversity, "Dunčo" is our most used dog name. Its like "John" in states.

Bell, Hogan, Daisy, Princess, Max, Ginger, Ranger.
