Creative Director for a Design Studio.
Dream Job?
I'd like to be someone that studies flora and fauna, I'm not sure if there's a name for it, I know there's a name for the individual thing. It just seems relaxing to me. I love life on Earth for the most part, but I don't want to be bothered by people that much, certainly not someone that's higher up than me, and I'd rather not present anything to anyone, as in, stand in front of a huge group of people. Or if I was smart enough, I'd like to be an astrologist or something like it. I'd just like to discover, 'cause a lot of the time I wonder why some things do the stuff they do; as small as why does a squirrel sit on a tree with his belly flat, those are simple things I can learn on the internet, and have, but there are more things than just that. I just like to learn things, and I know by that comment someone would say "college is for you", but it's not, and it wasn't, or at least it wasn't when I was there. I'm not ignorant, but in some ways, I look at things somewhat naively. I was hesitant to type that, but it may be true.
Astronaut. Nothing cliche about it, I just think it would be incredible to live in the ISS for 6 months watching the Earth go by every 90 or so minutes. I am of the mentality that the further you get from the planet the more beautiful it becomes because you realize that every single person we know or have known comes from that little sphere of rock and water. We are insignificant creatures that can do incredible things and that single journey would probably humble a lot of people that need humbling.
I'm actually really happy with what I'll be doing, so I'll just ignore that. I would really like to direct/produce video games. I also would love to be a comedian/comedy writer. I'm assuming in this fantasy I'd be good at these jobs (also taller).

Working at a game company. Being an long-time gamer, I would make sure the devolepers knew what the fuck they're doing.
Developers aren't the problem, publishers are.
working in a small team in my own office with my friends doing things we are passionate about. like what giant bomb and penny arcade have. that or owning an independent videogame/comic/record/whatever store. the kind that's like dark and cramped and smells like old records and victory.
I want to become a leading scientist in biomedical research. For now I'll have to make do with becoming a doctor. Also I want to write novels in my spare time, not really a job though.
I think I'm actually doing it already, which is kind of mind-blowing.
I love my day job working in procurement for the state government, as I have an awesome boss and a great workplace culture that makes me want to be here, even though I never ever thought this was where I'd end up professionally.
Oh and I make a substantial amount of money with opportunities to move up rapidly and for free education.
Then by nights I get to write, and I've had some success and am starting to get published and earn cash for doing the one thing I truly love and never thought I'd have any success at.
So, yeah, can't complain haha
A DJ. I don't have the patience or technical know-how to get around shit like Ableton and have little interest in doing so. But it'd be my dream to hold the ultimate power over a dance floor or X'd out e-tards...
I would...
CONTROL WHEN THE BASS DROPS. ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY.
Male escort? Believe it or not, you would have to pleasure the ugly, the overweight, the old yadiyadiyada in each of their orifices. There's a reason they need male escorts in the first place...
I wonder, after looking at how many of these comments state game design as their dream job, how many game designers would laugh to themselves and think "You have no idea, man."
I'm not belittling the idea since I don't really have a clue, but after hearing enough brass tacks about the job from primary sources, being interested in game design for me would be like being interest in sports management after watching Jerry Maguire.
I don't have a specific place to work at but my dream job would be any place that I have job security, not have to worry about money, and most importantly that I am happy doing it.These are the main reasons I invested in Premium memberships for GB, Screened, and Tested. Writers, Programmers, and the business people at Whiskey Media were happy and loved their job. That is the environment that I hope to have one day.
I have been working retail over the past 10 years of my life now. I honestly don't know much else work other than what I already do.
War Correspondent/War Photographer for CNN or BBC.
along the lines of Tim Hetherington and Marie Colvin
Probably video production here at Giant Bomb. I think the day to day work would be incredibly rewarding, even if it's long hours.
Rock star. I have no musical talent and can't sing for shit. That is why this will not happen. A best selling author would be pretty neat too.

Since I'm a programmer I would have to say programmer at Valve or Blizzard would be my dream job.
A more real job would be to work for Google or Valve as I am a programmer.

You don't have to be smart to be an astrologist.
If I could make enough money doing it... maybe a wilderness guide. I would love to have a job where I got to go see beautiful places in nature all the time.
That or a competitive/professional shooter. I absolutely love target shooting.
Making money playing guitar and playing video games. Honestly, just to make money doing something that I love.
Making money being in a metal band and/or composing music for video games. I'd probably also want to try doing music for movies or short films on the side. Really though, just somewhere in the video game industry would be great. I used to say video game OR music industry but now I'm just "meh, whatever"with the music industry.....
A job as a foley artist also intrigues me. It seems like it would be pretty interesting and fun to do.

Paediatric Gynaecologist, or leader of the world would be a nice runner up. I got some nifty ideas that I think would make this a better place. As for real jobs, I guess head of some game company would be nice. If by Dream you mean really Dream job, I guess it would be someone who gets to be among the first colonists on the first habitable planet that we find and getting to be among the first to kick start an entire civilization.
Would also like some kind of job involving being out on the ocean too. I love being out on the water and feeling the ocean air beating against my skin and the feel of the water as it mists up from the sea and splashes against my skin; cooling it where it lands. It's funny how much I enjoy being out on the water despite not knowing how to swim.
Specifically a pediatric one?
I would love to work with animals, I'm going back to college in September to study to be a Zoologist. I used to want to be an Animator, but I quickly realised that my art skills are nowhere near good enough for anything like that.
