What kind of bags do you duders lug around your tech or work stuff in?
I've been using this one for a couple years, holding up good as new : Tumi (T-Tech) Empire Ambassador Bag. I just ordered a new one for work - Moleskine Reporter Bag .

I've had the same backpack for about 7 years. Can't find a picture. It's black. It has zips and stuff.
Pretty much this.
Except mine is 4 years old.

Nope, shoulder bags are kinda dumb since they don't distribute weight evenly.
My scoliosis would agree. I have a swissgear backpack for day trips. But to just carry my work stuff around or a gadget or two on the go I use those messenger style ones.

a real man's shoulders distribute weight evenly every time! he doesn't need no backpack or man bag, he simply places important things upon his broad shoulders.
I've had the same swiss army backpack for 4 years and its great.
Independent of this thread, I love the idea of a "Duder Bag". Whatever that is, make it happen store.giantbomb.com!

What sort of weights do you carry around to the extent that this is an issue?!
I have always just carried a backpack/messenger bag in my hands for school/uni stuff.
No need for anything else.

On a completely unrelated topic, that guy is completely unfunny. What's the appeal of his 'act'? I don't understand it.
Anyways, backpacks are okay but so are messenger bags. It's just striking the balance between the two so you look stylish whilst not so metrosexual.

Well I go to university too, and on any given day I need to carry multiple heavy books, a whole shitload of papers in folders plus my laptop and charger. I carried the same amount of stuff in high school with a messenger bag, and that's when I learnt my lesson. My shoulders would ache all the time. Now I've switched to a small backpack, and it's fine.
Got two fanny packs that I've extended the straps for and carry on my shoulders. One contains hella cables and adapters, the other's got more survival-type stuff; a set of screwdrivers, a swiss army knife, mosquito repellant, matches, a pair of pliers, matches, a comb, sunglasses, a small tube of cyanoacrylate, some pens and pencils and a power cell that charges stuff over USB. Both of 'em have hella pockets, which is especially handy for the one with the cables, since that means they don't get all tangled together. Also have a laptop bag with my computer and related accessories.
I had a Jansport backpack that had an assload of pockets. It finally broke after 7 years of service. Right now I have an Under Armor sling backpack. Quality stuff.
I'm both a grad school student as well as a student teacher. I have a lot of stuff to carry around.@Turambar said:
