Fights, potential bans, threats, any of that stuff on here or any other forums.
Ever been wrapped up in any forum drama?
Nothing comes to mind. I tend to always have unpopular opinions so whenever I would post my POV on a lot of topics it would generate a ton of hate that other people would spew back at me in PM's and replies. After awhile I learned to just not post what I thought a lot of the time because it gets you nothing in return but idiots screaming at you or calling you names because you have the audacity to disagree with them about some stupid topic.
Posted a link on a forum a few years ago to a hilarious video which also happened to be porn. Checked all the forum rules and regs and couldn't find anything to say that wasn't allowed and as far as I knew all the users were adults. Moderator swiftly swooped in, deleted it and gave me a slap on the wrist via PM which was all fair enough. Didn't think anymore of it when all of a sudden a supermod started messaging me with loads of shit, being really abusive and a massive dick. Banned me for a week (ooohhh he has power) but I just never went back. Some people with "authority" on the internet are just incredible. Probably the only power they'll ever have.

I don't know. This post is missing something.

Perfect!
And to answer the question: yes. All the fucking time.

Wow, how big of you.
On the Warhawk forums at PSU some drunk guy thought I was some amazing player because my score per minute was around 3.5. When I told him that I was only slightly better than average and that good players are nearing 6 he flipped out and basically called all the good players cheaters. Of course all the good players are also on the forum and he was drunk so that escalated quickly. It was kind of hilarious but I guess you had to be there.
A lot of people got their panties in a bunch over some stuff I posted in the Stardock article here a few months ago, I ended up banned then reinstated on another forum due to it.
A couple of times (even recently). I have rarely found myself to be in the wrong factually (it's happened), but most of the time I've comported myself so poorly that I may as well have been. The topics are almost never about site content or even games, because I have far less problems with those things than other posters often do; usually it was in response to an already combative and unpopular post.
I was once caught in a nasty love triangle with @Video_Game_King: and the pretty, young daughter of an evil oil baron. Fortunately it was all resolved when she fell down an elevator shaft. However, things got quite heated again when her long lost secret, bitchy twin sister showed up pretending to be her...
An old forum called sourceforum; back in 04 there were a group of people with generic Final Fantasy avatars who insisted on arguing with me and others over the most trivial of things. I won't say I got caught up in any drama that resulted in a ban, but fuck they were annoying.

It was a type 5, where the daughter wanted the forbidden fruit of me.
Huh, I was once accused of being a Nazi simply because I'm from Austria xD
However I didn't really care so....yeah probably not the most impressive story
I never personally partake in forum drama, as i've far outgrown it. That said, people on this forum are constantly trying to start some pointless argument with me. Any time i see a message in my inbox, it's guaranteed to be some kid flaming me for a forum post he disagreed with.
Nope, I'm sure it has nothing to do with my post count though.
I've had WoW and Counter-Strike drama, I mean, dubya tee eff
How do you guys say something that causes people to PM you? I wish I had that effect on people....or even just the ladies...
I'm sure I've been involved with drama at some point but I've outgrown it for the most part and find watching it unfold a lot more fun.

How dare you speak of Mercedes in that way! I'll make sure that one day you pay for not returning her love leading to her throwing herself down that elevator shaft, King!

Dramatic! *claps softly*
@pyromagnestir:
What was I supposed to do!? I was already married and I made it very clear that I was only in town for business with her father! Besides, it was never going to go anywhere. She didn't know anything about Lunarian culture or customs. When she wanted me to sleep with her each and every night, I knew it wasn't going to last!
Usually when someone replies to me with something thats too dumb to bother with I wont even bother replying. I save myself from alot of drama that way.
She saw you both kissing her best friend, Esperanza, and her mother, Guatemala in the stable at her father's ranch. How could you be so cold?
@pyromagnestir:
Whatever she told you was a lie. Was it that day we all went to relax by the lake for the day? Because I seem to remember not being able to find my cloak and crown that day. And the funny thing about that: they were in the chest at the foot of my bed at the end of the day, even though I distinctly remember searching there when they first went missing. You wouldn't happen to know what happened to them, would you?
I got banned from a Xenosaga site and forum in 2003. Some dude kept posting oddball fetish crap about child-robot Momo, and I eventually opined that he was an asshole and needed a good solid beat down to help him get his life back on track. My first experience with the banhammer.
Yes. Before RE 4 came out. I was a freshman in College. I got on Gamespot and started screaming about how the series was ruined. Then I played it and ate hella crow. Then 5 came out and i was TOTALLY REDEEMED. (5 isn't so bad)
I shall not stand for such insinuations. You know quite well that was day my grandmother's dementia caused her to run off searching for my late grandfather and that I spent the whole afternoon tracking her down.
@pyromagnestir:
Convenient excuse, that. Why was your grandmother there, though? I seem to remember you telling me that she doesn't like hot weather, and neither did her husband. I mean, isn't that why they spent their entire lives in far north Maine? STOP MAKING EXCUSES!
Not really.
Well, some people have berated me for liking Ponies, but I'm cool, that doesn't affect me.
