I already seen the Master which I quite liked a bit, the most visually impressive film in recent years. Today I am hoping to catch Looper and hte upcoming weeks with Les Mes, Argo, Amor, Killing them softly, Life of Pi, Skyfall and Cloud Atlas. Oh I was initially excited to see Lincoln but that looks cheesy now :/ also I am not excited for Django Unchained even though I am a huge Tarantino fan

So what are you guys hoping to watch or catch in theaters in the fall?

Me too. I have no idea what's even coming out. I've already missed some movies that I really wanted to see, like that one about the dybbuk box and ParaNorman.

I live in northern Canada and no where near a theatre, so I'll have to wait and watch them via some other means...but, I'm super stoked about Looper and the Hobbit.

I never go to the movies anymore. The last 3-4 times I have gone the movie was always ruined because some stupid kids/teenagers would be in the place and they would never shut the fuck up through the entire movie. So now I just wait for the DVD's to come out and download them online.

Skyfall for sure. I can't wait for that. Taken 2 I am being cautiously optimistic about. The Man With the Iron Fists, Seven Psychopaths and Universal Soldier all have my interest as well. I do really want to see Looper but I don't know when I'll be able to.

I am excited for Seven Psychopaths. It's from the same guy that did In Bruges. This fall and winter have some pretty awesome looking movies coming out this year.

Yeah, I saw it tonight. That movie surprised me. The slo-mo shooting scene was fantastic.

I bought the book Life of Pi a while ago. Hadn't heard of it at the time, but it looked interesting. Think I'm going to read it before seeing the film.

Dredd was fantastic and it's a goddamn shame that nobody seems to be going to see it. The theater had maybe 10 other people and that's on a saturday night. The concensus seems to be that people either remeber the awwwwwwwwwful 1995 movie and don't want anything to do with it or they just don't know what Dredd is. I'd say it has more in common with Robocop or The Road Warrior than the Stallone movie.

Looper, Skyfall, and Hobbit. Maybe Django Unchained, but that looks like it could easily go either way.

The only movies this year that I really want to see are The Master, Cloud Atlas and Seven Psychopaths. I was interested in the Hobbit until they split a 300 page children's book into 3 movies.

The Master is awesome. Argo is also pretty good but Cloud Atlas is not a good film. I would recommend Anna Karenina to anyone enjoying great cinematography.

Myself, I'm waiting for Amour and Seven Psychopaths 'cause I missed them both at TIFF.

YES! I honestly cannot wait for that one.

I also want to see the Great Gatsby, but I forget when that's coming out, and most likely, I'm going to see The Hobbit.

There's a lot I want to see right now. I came to school after the release of The Master, and I really want to see that, but it's almost impossible to see movies in Madison. I also want to see Robot & Frank, Looper, and Hotel Transylvania.

Coming out, I want to see V/H/S, Sinister, Paranormal Activity 4, Cloud Atlas, Skyfall, Life of Pi, The Collection, The Hobbit, Les Mis, and Django Unchained. Only The Hobbit and Django Unchained stand out as theater experiences, though. I also missed the incredibly divisive Cosmopolis, and I really, really can't wait to see Moonrise Kingdom in a couple weeks when the DVD drops, so I intend to see both of those.

There's also a bunch of Fantastic Fest movies that might not see wide releases that I'm interested in seeing.
