Cool story brov? I dno if its out of date. But I use it once every couple of days. Also i'm a chronic user of 'kickass', though that might be modern... though I have been using it for like 10 years.

Rad - I use it all the time.

Janky - I've used this one for about 10 years now. As a programmer these days, it is more relevant to my day to day operations than ever.

Howdy - I didn't start to use this until after I left Oklahoma for California. I don't know if I felt obligated to be the Oklahoman or what, but I basically use it to mean "How do you do?" which I assume is its origin.

Bummer - Used it a lot as a kid, and it's made a come back in the last year since I try to avoid saying 'that sucks' around customers.

No dice - I heard it on an episode of the Simpsons and have used it since. I get the impression that most people I use it around are unfamiliar with the phrase.

Baller - Last but not least, it's already at least a half decade old, and I say it from time to time, most likely inspired by Ryan Davis and Justin McElroy. QED, it's pretty out of date.
