Feel better soon Jason!

Thought I would make a short thread for some well wishes for @unastrike , while kidney stones are a fairly standard procedure nowadays it does not make them any less goddamnedearthshatteringly painful. I had a couple nasty bouts with them before and they can be extremely painful and uncomfortable.

Yeah, I had a bladder stone once... It was really unpleasant. I imagine kidney stones are just as bad or maybe worse because it's... more inside?

Can somebody post that Tom Hanks pissing out kidney stone scene from The Green Mile. Cause that's what i think about every time somebody says Kidney stones. Try changing those energy drinks into big bottles of water :D.

But seriously, kidney stones suck something fierce. Anything (preferably water) with lemon juice apparently helps prevent them/break them down. Best of luck, good sir.

@xanadu: I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the 2-3 energy drink habit Jason had/has didn't help. The big ones I believe are too much salt, sugar, and protein. There's different kinds of stones, but like...stereotypical gamer diet can certainly do it. Or just being dehydrated a lot. Drink more water!

With how hard Jason has been working around here, running video for a studio all by himself, I've been hoping he'd get some time away from work. But...

I've heard about kidney stones. I hope it passes as soon as possible, and they are keeping you as comfortable as possible.

man just last week i was impressed that these guys drink monsters and rockstars like nobodys business and hadn't been suffering form any kidney stones....blast those rocks outcha weiner and get back to work!

I had them when I was in high school, and damn they are bad. They normally give you some pretty strong pain meds to take whenever it gets unbearble, but then you're just knocked out all day. They can last a few weeks too. Good luck buddy! @unastrike
