Free to good home - Half-Life 2 PC

I've had a giftable copy of Half-Life 2 since I first got the game ages ago. If anyone wants it message me your steam info, first one cane have it.

Amen and some decent mods too. Riot Act was short but not bad, I'm playing Minerva again which unfortunately has a glitch in the first chapter where it freezes but the rest has been fine. It's the gift that keeps on giving, y'know, like Herpes.

I also have a free copy of Half-life 2 and Episode 1 if anyone is interested. I've had these for years, and just want to get rid of them.

Heh, just started up Steam and had a look. Turns out I have a copy of HL2 just sitting there, waiting for someone to claim it. Get in touch if you want it.

Good luck with that. I tried to do the same thing a year or so back by doing a contest and everyone already had a copy of it. Some guy won by default as he was the only one who didn't have it who entered iirc. Never heard if he liked the game or not though.

I just got a message for mine but definitely keep this going for people looking to dump their copies off on some people !

How do so many people have free copies of hl2? Was there some kind of promotion or did you guys randomly buy another copy?

And yeah, most people got that giftable copy from the Orange Box. If you bought it and already owned HL2 and/or Ep1 on that Steam account, you could give the new copy that came with the Orange Box to a friend

A lot of us bought the original, then the Orange Box. Valve also tends to hand out its old games like candy.  "
