Actually, yeah Freewebs is good and Blogspot is also really good. For instance, you can have a blog with it's own unique design.

You might want to try blogspot then. I use it for a blog, and though mine is pretty basic, I've seen friends do a lot of different stuff with theirs, and it seems very flexible.
