I'm a fan of fried chicken. I don't eat it as often as I used to, but I'll definitely chow down on some, every once in a while. The question is, do you prefer KFC or Popeye's? I certainly like the spiciness of Popeye's, but KFC has that unique flavour. I'm in Canada so I'm not sure what other chicken joints they have elsewhere, but I'd love to hear about better other options too.
Fried chicken - KFC or Popeye's
dat frieeeeed chicken n collard greenz!
but Popeyes is alot better in the biscuit and chicken area. KFC curbstomps them with the gravy and mashed taters.
I had Popeyes when i was in the US at one time. I remember it being awesome, but i can't really compare to KFC from that memory so long ago.
There was this awesome place here that had awesome fried chicken...but now they've changed, and the chicken is too dry. Used to be awesome, drumsticks that were freakin massive.
There is seriously a restaurant called Popeye's? Thats silly. First of all, the chicken and biscuits on the official spelling, "Popeyes", do not belong to Popeye, and secondly, the only thing I think of when I think of Popeye is spinach and enormous forearms.
I shall not be eating at your musclebound hippie club where "nothing belongs to anyone man, far out", nor smoking a fat one and remembering how everything is funny and letting the communists win, and furthermore KFC is delicious in small doses.
Popeye's, I don't know about in the US but the KFC here in England is greasy and soggy. The Popeye's on the base near me is actually crispy so it wins.
Popeye's has the better chicken, but KFC has the better crusty shit...I ended up picking KFC but this is a tough one.
I prefer chic-fil-a over both, but I'll take Popeyes's... no, KFC.... uh.... tie... KFC (those honey bbq snackers are THE SHIT)
I'm a fried chicken fanatic, even getting my own pressure fryer. When I went to America I went on a mission to try as many types as I could and the best I've tasted is the stuff from the shop outside the train station in Seven Kings, Essex. I went thousands of miles to find the best was on home ground. It's a quid more for the 6 piece box than the place slightly closer to my girlfriend's house but it's worth the expense. Hot wings are the daddy and chilli and mayonnaise on the chips. Rahhhh. It would be my final meal.
I only really know KFC since Popeye's isn't in my area, but KFC is very good if you don't think about what you're eating while you're eating it.
