WOW! this is alot more negative that I expected. I was only being like 2% serious by the way. I could really care less I am mostly tying to explore the differences in perception on what a video game is.
My topics are meant to promote general discussion I use examples from my life to give them weight. THIS TOPIC ISN'T ACTUALLY ABOUT ME ITS ABOUT EVERYONE.

If you have something to say, it isn't always conveyed so well in text. Your first post outright said that you don't like your girlfriend playing Facebook games. Now you say that you just wanted to incite discussion on Facebook games. If you want to talk about the viability of Facebook, or want to "challenge our perception of what a video game is", then think of a better way to put it other than lying about it.
By the way, a video game is a game of some sort played on a computer. There. That is what a video game is, plain and simple. Is it broad? Yes, but then so is the term "movie" and so is the term "book".

I hate girl advice threads. Hate hate hate. They aren't against the site rules. They are against my rules. The only reason this get's a pass is because it's about videogames and is therefore relevant to my interests.
Still, the only logical conclusion here is that you should fake your own death.
The bulk of video games can be reduced to sound as asinine as you make her Farmville stuff sound. What you do in most games is fairly simple and repetitive. Even an age-old game like golf sounds dumb when you describe it as just whacking a ball through the grass until it goes in a little hole then do it 17 more times. The fun's in doing it, not in its description. I don't play that stuff either, but I never judge because it's just as easy for someone to blast me for playing MW3 or whatever.
Make her give up the ass, whenever she displeases you. Don't know if it helps with any of your specific problems, but such assplay is certainly gonna be fun for you. You might even hit a vein of chocolate ore. Yummy!
Darn too bad I'm not as simple. I "girlfriend of someone" play 360 games like their going out of fashion. I get maybe 3-4 a week and commit to beating them. Not just erm.... Farmville but well, you can check out my achievement list. But in my opinion, if that's what the girl wants... leave her be. She could be banning YOU from playing games like some girls I know.
Real mature, I weep for our generation if this is how we treat our women. Btw. "gamer girlfriend" somehow sounds derogatory...I wouldn't call my girlfriend "dancing girlfriend" if she happened to dance...
@Devil240Z: If you want people to start a discussion about the topic and not just bitch about your attitudes towards your girlfriend or whatever the hell, perhaps you should end with a question that kick-starts said discussion instead of leaving it ambiguous. Most people on the internet just want to complain, and your topic gave them immediate license to do so.
But anyway, those are "games" the same as anything else, they're just really terrible ones.
At least you have someone to call your girlfriend. Think about it... you don't want to end up like me, and just about everyone knows my history here. =-|
