Hey everybody, I'm living in Osaka right now. I was just wondering if there are any fellow giant bombers on here. It's tuff playing on Xbox Live with folks from back home. So I was just wondering if there are any one that wants to play some games on LIVE! I'm loving this site! :)

Do you connect to the same servers that everyone over here does for XBL or is it a separate japanese section? If so how many members are on xbl there
"Do you connect to the same servers that everyone over here does for XBL or is it a separate japanese section? If so how many members are on xbl thereI am 90 percent sure there are different Xbox Liver Servers for various regions across the world. There is not nearly as many members over there as well, simply because the 360 is getting outsold by both playstation 3 and the wii.

The servers are the same, but the problem is that when I connect with (for example) my friends back in the states there is tons of lag. I'm assuming that it's the distance factor. Also throw in the fact the time difference. So it's not always easy. Another thing that sucks is that I can't download videos and Xbox Originals because of the region lock. ah well! haha

However I'm not sure how well it is helping."Do you connect to the same servers that everyone over here does for XBL or is it a separate japanese section? You for sure have not been there. I wouldn't call burning your garbage in your back yard, killing whales and dolphins, or buying USED school girl underwear from a vendor machine civil. Most Japanese are very nice on the surface but as soon as you turn around they are talking shit about you.
I remember one time i got on the train and sat down NEAR (2 seats away) a japanese woman (in her late 30's) and she pulled her pocket book close to her then a min later got up and took another seat about 20 feet from me or my brother.
For those of you wanting to go to japan make sure you have someone to show you around or learn some key japanese words to get around. At the very least have a book telling you where to go.
On a food note don't order Italian food in kyoto they had hotdogs in their calzones and the red sause tasted like ketcup lol. Best curry i ever had was in japan though. And if you don't eat fish its ok their is enough out there to eat you won't starve
