girlfriend wants a "break"

My girlfriend recently told me she needs space because ive been fighting with her about her spend more time with her guy friends more than she does me. She also enjoys spending more time with them than me. I still love her but i think she is going to break up with me. Thoughts?
 
Edit: She wont answer my texts/calls until she contacts me somehow at night at some random time

Thoughts? What? None of us know you or your girlfriend, so how could we possibly offer you any meaningful advice? I am of the opinion that these sorts of questions/problems are best sorted out with friends and family, not internet message boards about video games.

Go do your own thing for awhile. Hang out with your own friends. Focus on your own life. Don't ignore her or shut her out, but also don't really prioritize her for a little while. See how she responds. You two might really just need a little space, and that's OK. Doesn't mean it's the end of the world. But usually when one or the other person in a relationship is losing interest, it's because you've started taking each other for granted, so the quickest way to get it back is to simply decrease said attention. And, if she decides she likes having her own space and that she doesn't really want to hang out with you anymore, then you know which way the wind is blowing and can make your decision accordingly.

not to be mean, but if she wants a break, i agree with EpicSteve. she's probably more interested in someone else, which is why she is spending more time elsewhere. whether or not she's done anything doesn't matter much, because we're talking about feelings here, not actions. the best you could do is let her do her thing, and if she comes back, fine... if not, fine... just make sure you have things to keep your interest towards yourself, your friends, etc. and not be focusing on her. if you focus on other things, you won't be a mess, and you can deal with things as they come with a cooler head once she figures out what she wants. also, bang her sister if she's hot (obligatory forum mentality)

Maybe she wants a break because she feels you're being a little jealous and smothering and feels some time apart will be good for you two. Maybe she just doesn't want to be around you anymore and is seeing whether you take the hint or if it's better to not be with you anymore. I don't know the situation or people involved well enough to make an educated guess.
 
If I had to make very vague, very general advice it'd be prepare yourself mentally for a break up since that is always a possibility. That way if she does you won't get so emotional that you may do or say something you may regret. If you feel like taking an active approach to resolving this issue and staying together if you feel that she may indeed dump you, you can try to ask her yourself if she's thinking about breaking up with you or, if you feel like being indirect, ask her friends if she's said anything about you that she didn't like. If they're willing to help that can usually be taken as a good sign.  If not, they either don't like you personally, don't feel like getting in the middle of it(though they might divulge information as long as it can't be traced back to them), or they don't like you from something your girlfriend said. 
 
Again, this is very general. Modify it to the best of your ability to suit your situation. Or ignore it. That's fine too.

I have this one close female friend of mine who is also very close with a couple of my other buddies.  Her best friends are all male.  Her ex-boyfriend (note ex) who we all used to be friends with would argue with her about us.

in my experience "take a break" is the phase right before "broken up". Sorry bud, just my 2 cents.
