Hi, I teach year 2 (England) and never let children go to the toilet during classtime. What is your opinion on my rule?

They need to learn to take care of business between classes, but obviously there should be exceptions for emergencies or kids with issues.

Year 2, as in second graders?

Also this is an odd topic.

Idk about kids that young but I help teach college students and they can go to the bathroom whenever they want. But they’re adults, sooooo.

Like..for that age? They probably just really have to go to the bathroom, let 'em go.

As dirtbag teenagers we said it to get the hell out of there for a bit but by that point I was only asking to be polite anyway. If I had to go I'm leaving the room no matter what answer you give.

My opinion is that if you force one of these little kids to have an accident, then you should be the one to clean it up and then be the one to explain to their parents why it happened.

My opinion on this topic is...what?
