NOTE: This is my HS alumni, Plano East Senior High School. This occured in 1994. The game won an ESPY for biggest showstopper. I was 5 at the time, and one of my earliest sports memories.

Plano East was down 41-17 with 2:42 left to play.

Yeah, but that isn't human, how lucky they got. Should have definitely not kick it to the fastest guy, or at least, kick it out of bounds.

Yeah, the coach said he made the mistake of telling him to kick it deep. He joked later saying that they should have gone for another onside kick.

Break out the Oreos!

A little tidbit: those announcers, because of this game, were the announcers in Varsity Blues.

I saw that video a few years back. I love how the commentators are completely heartbroken by the final play after such a high. It's so cruel, and so funny.

"Good gosh almighty!" "Break out the oreos baby!" "I done wet my breeches." These guys need to be commentating NFL games.
