He is my favorite non-Giant Bomb gamer dude, and he seems like a rad dude. Hope he gets through this.
Greg Miller diagnosed with cancer

Man, that sucks. I remember being a huge Beyond listener up until Roper got laid off. Thoughts are with him.
Terrible thing for anyone to go through I know from experience, I wish it upon nobody.
He has a very positive diagnosis though, good for him!
Don't really know a lot about the guy, but getting diagnosed with cancer isn't fun news for anyone. Hope he keeps a positive outlook and gets well soon!
he seems to have a good outlook on his situation, which is sometimes half the battle. hope everything goes well for him and he kicks cancers butt!
He's a good dude. Despite being a ps3 fanboy. He was always the most entertaining dude when I used to listen to ign podcasts. Best of luck to him!
Yea there are various versions of it, the one Andy Whitfield had was a much more aggressive type. From what it sounds like, Greg has a less dangerous type. Some of you act like just because it's Hodgkin's he's gonna be fine. People die from that all the time, I mean, Andy Whitfield (Spartacus) lost his battle with it.
Michael C Hall (the guy who plays Dexter) also had Hodgkins.
Horry Shet, Greg is the whole reason I went to IGN in the first place, now been listening to BEYOND! for close to 4 years. Thank god it's a relatively "easy" cancer
@ScurrilousNerd: It's a pretty lightweight cancer even at stage 3, and all things point to him finding it VERY early. This is such an easy cancer, it might not even affect him again until old age (because many cancers multiply the chances of reoccurring cancer later on.) I believe it's like 90% chance of surviving this for 5 years, and then the stats get all complicated, I didn't study that part too hard.

I'm not a big fan of IGN, but he is by far one of the best people over there and is doing some cool stuff. He seems pretty positive about it though, so I'm sure he'll recover.
Some say your own brain is your worst enemy when going through cancer, and he obviously has a sense of humor about the whole thing, so I wouldn't be concerned.
Well... at least he won't die. I wish him luck though. It sounds like he's taking it OK. He seems to be one of the more recognizable people from IGN, plus, I believe he's the only one that's talked with the crew of Giantbomb where the viewers can listen in as well, and that's awesome.
Cancer always sucks, I really hope he gets through this. Though I understand a lot of the criticisms people have about IGN I still really like the personalitys overthere and I am an Avid listener of Podcast Beyond, Game Scopp and viewer of Up At Noon. I really hope he pulls though.
Hey, people. Guess what? Nobody gives a shit if you don't like the guy. If you don't like him, keep it to yourself. This is not the place to say that, and the fact that some of you think that's okay is mind boggling to me.
I hope he pulls through and wish him the best.
Fuck all the cancers, seriously. Why didn't anyone find a cure yet? Hope the dude beats the son of a bitch.

Because cancer does not have a single cause but multiple. Different cancers have different causes and almost every human cell can turn into a cancer, meaning you end up with thousands of possible cancers. It's not like AIDS where the cause is a single indentifiable (HIV) virus, thought some exceptions like hepatitis virusses and humane papilloma (warts) virusses can cause cancers. I doubt we will find a single cure for all cancers, but I'm positive we will find individual cures for individual cancers.
I'm pretty sure Greg Miller will survive this, it's very treatable yet you shouldn't underestimate the toll chemotherapy takes on a human body. I wish him luck.

As I turn 34 everyone's getting cancer, it's freaking scary. Everyone get checked up. Go to a clinic, go to an ER, just do yourself a favor and get checked out for anything. And it's not enough to get one test, get another test, there's a lot of lazy doctors out there.
No need to freak everyone out. As long you don't have a fever you can't explain, you're not sweating in the night so bad you need to change your drenched bed sheets and drenched pyjamas or have lost more than 10% of your total bodyweight in the last 6 months (or less) unintended...chances are, YOU ARe JUST FINe.

I thought Greg was dealing with this unusually well, until I found this video. What a brave kid.

I uh... I got nothing cynical or witty to say about any of this.
Life is sad and beautiful and awful.

I hope no one thinks it's disrespectful, but it reminds me of this rant he did on cancer a few years ago on Game Scoop when I used to listen to it.
Feel better Greg.
Great rant ! Greh will beat this one for sure ! BEYOND !
I have been listening to podcast beyond since 2007 on and off. Sometimes his style can get a little over bearing, but i do keep going back, so I do like him overall. Anyway, I hope he can recover and quickly at that considering he did say that they know what they are dealing with and it seems to be a fairly treatable and unagressive type.
Well that's depressing.. Although I'm sure he'll be fine, since this is one of the more treatable forms of the disease. But still.. heavy stuff. Good luck Greg; you've pretty much always been my favorite IGN guy
Hmmm, I stopped listening to the IGN podcast a few months ago and visiting their site in general but I've always been a fan of Greg Miller and some of the dudes on the site there. I wish him a speedy recovery.
I've barely heard of him before as I don't go on IGN but anyone who makes a Breaking Bad joke about their own cancer is awesome in my opinion.
