Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, even if you aren't celebrating this weekend. What are some of your favourite Thanksgiving traditions? favourite foods?

I thought it was not until Monday? I have no plans ether way. 
 
Also, get ready for all the silly yanks coming in to say it's not thanksgiving and calling you stupid. It's what happened when I made the thread last year too.

Happy Thanksgiving! I had mine last week, because my sister went to Mexico and it was the last time we were all together.

Thanksgiving is tomorrow isn't it?

well ya i guess it is tomorrow, but i've had my thanksgiving meal today, and i know most people do have it either today or tomorrow, so i wanted to make the post now

I still refuse to believe that Canadian Thanksgiving exists.  So what if it happened, 50 years or so before ours?  Ours led to the slaughter of the Native Americans, and that means something, dammit!

i can't wait for thanksgiving. it is a great holiday to eat a lot of food.

Isn't Thanksgiving in November?

My favorite foods for thanksgiving are: Turkey, good rolls, mashed potatoes, and gravy on everything.  As far as traditions, the one I like the most is sitting around watching football haha...although our Thanksgiving is still a lil ways off

@InfamousBIG: The guy who made this thread's in Canada, and their Thanksgiving's earlier than ours. This doesn't help my sudden craving for Pumpkin Pie either.

wouldn't a good Thanksgiving thread be about what you're thankful for? geez, can't wait for the real Thanksgiving thread....
 
seriously though, i love Thanksgiving. there's no one individual part i love, it's the culmination of it all. sweet potato, stuffing, turkey, cranberry sauce, more mashed potatoes with gravy. my mom's Italian so we usually have some pasta and ravioli...mmm, damn i'm getting hungry.
 
and for being thankful, my family is a little spread out so it's always great to see everyone. this year my cousin is actually getting married down in TX so this will be my first Thanksgiving out of state, should be awesome. i'll be thankful if i land with no problems (haven't flown in forever)

I guess I'll eat these ribs, baked beans, mashed potatoes, and hot links to Canadian Thanksgiving. Have fun Scherbatsky

I specifically did not eat any of the many pumpkin pies and apple pies available tonight, why? Because I do not like pie.

my favorite tradition is where the natives help us settle and then we give them blankets full of diseases.

Ya! so much turkey today and tommrow its round 2 AND the day after that 3 and 4 fuck why did we get such a big turkey.
