I was on the lookout for a new podcast, that you specifically can listen to on Spotify, and I remembered Brad had talked about one called "Hardcore History". Being interested in who Dan Carlin that runs the podcast is, I googled him. Now I know why Brad likes the podcast.

Here's a picture of Dan Carlin.

He loves history and his twin brother. It's the perfect podcast for him.

Hardcore History is good shit, he puts out more sporadic, off the cuff material these days. People should recognize that he isn't a historian. He is a history enthusiast who enjoys storytelling. I heartily recommend listening to Wrath of the Khans and Death Throes of the Republic.

Hardcore History is pretty good his story telling makes you feel you where there started listening to it after Drew Recommended it on a podcast. Although there really long there still worth the listen.

Hardcore History is amazing. Highly recommend Blueprint for Armageddon. More recently he's been doing one of's he calls "blitz" edition, which is just one podcast of only 5-6 hours haha

Hardcore History is a great show. I`ll add in one more recommendation for Wrath of the Kahns and Death Throes of the Republic. Prophets of Doom is also a really great one off about a incredibly interesting but (at least to me) lesser known moment in history.

HH is great but I echo others that are saying it's not 100% accurate.

Yeah he's a storyteller and not an actual historian, which he will probably mention a half dozen times per (6 hour long) episode.

It's a wonderful show though, the rarity of updates always makes my day when it shows up on my feed.

Very good show, I'd recommend The American Peril since it's (relatively) tightly made.
