I think they are super cool things that everyone should always do. Especially Children.
How do you feel about Drugs, Drinking & Smoking?
I use to smoke but managed to quit. Haven't had a cigarette in over a year and a half now. Drinking is fine if you do it in moderation. I personally don't like the taste of most alcohol though so it's never been an issue for me. The only drug I take is Tylenol for migraines during the school semester.
Got no problem with any of them. I quit smoking a while back, and I don't drink as much as I used to. I'm way into drugs though.
I used to smoke, but managed to quit. I used to be a raging alcoholic between the ages of 18 and 21, but I've cut down and only drink with my friends once every few weeks. Don't use any drugs.
I don't do any of them, nor do I care whether or not others do. Do whatever you want, as long as it isn't hurting me or anyone else.
It's up to the person as far as smoking and drinking goes. None of my business really. The only thing that pisses me off is when people smoke without asking if the other people around are ok with it or without excusing themselves from the area. I drink at parties and other events where other people are doing the same, so I can't really say I'm against drinking as long as it's handled responsibly. As for drugs, depends on the kind of drug. If someones hopelessly addicted to the more severe kinds of drugs then I just feel sorry for them.
I got no problem with any of those. I don't quite get the point of cigarettes since they don't alter your state of mind.
Also are you a police?
I'm a smoker and even though i rarely drink is still do sometimes.
I'm pro marijuana, since its less bad then the other other forms of legal substance abuse and if controlled right it can not only raise money for the contry that legalizes it, build jobs, and cut down crime while at the same time reduce the cost to the prisons since its more expensive to hold a person in a prison then it is to put him in a apartment in the same size and all that. so basicly i can only see good things from being pro marijuana. there is ofc the health issue but still its nothing like smoking and drinking.
alcohol is the best and worse of both worlds.
smoking is really fucking stupid, yes as i said im a smoker and i like it, but its just illogical, theres really nothing good about it and i know i sound like a bad psa, but if it had never been legal it proberly never would be again
but smoking a cigar some times its just so relaxing and a pipe is just fantastic, cigarettes are just there to feel my addiction untill i get to a time where i can smoke a cigar or pipe without feeling like a dick, its allso a great way to get extended my break at work with 5min
@Hardgamer: You asking about drug use in the GB community, and especially now with you asking about me asking about it....
Never touched any of those but I don't have a problem with anyone who does as long as they don't bother me.
I personally enjoy marijuana. I've never done any other drugs though except alcohol. I only drink once or twice a month, which I'd say is pretty low for a college student, but I don't really enjoy the way it makes me feel. I don't understand tobacco, I've smoked it a couple times and it doesn't do anything except taste bad. Still though, I think everyone should be free to do whatever they damn well please as long as it isn't hurting others.
None, and don't plan on ever taking them up. I'm perfectly fine with my mind in the state it's in. I don't have a problem with people who use them though, as long as they aren't harming anyone else.
That said, I've been thinking recently. Can someone explain the appeal to me? The hangovers and vomiting from drinking don't seem worth it.
Don't do any of them, have no problem with people doing all of them, so long as it doesn't hurt other people. Although when I hear that someone's a smoker, especially somebody I'm friends with or a family member I get a little sad because, you know, cancer and all that (and it's taken it's toll on more than one of my relatives), but I never try to preach to them about it cause that seems pretty rude to me.
I think people can do whatever they want as long as no one else gets hurt (this isn't always the case with drugs and alcohol mind you). I think both drugs and alcohol can be used moderately by fully functional, successful people. I also think that it is much easier to slip into misusing drugs and alcohol then it is to use them responsibly. I think that people who chose to use drugs and alcohol have every right to do so but must be ready to deal with the consequences of their actions if there are any (especially for illegal drugs).

You have to tell him if you are! Otherwise it's entrapment! (but not really - Police are allowed to lie to you during the course of their job)
I don't do any of the above (with the exception of medicinal drugs, which virtually everyone does), but I'm not opposed to them. Far be it from me, a person who's never had a drop of alcohol, smoked a single cig or done any drug that wasn't sold in a store or prescribed by a physician, to tell people what to do with their bodies. If you wanna drink, drink and do it responsibly. If you like smoking, smoke, just don't blow it in my face or act offended when I tell you that you smell like you've licked a monkey's ass. If you want to throw caution to the wind and expand your mind with recreational substances, go for it. Understand there are laws in place against it in certain areas, but do what you like, I don't care. The second you endanger another person though, then I will try to step in or alert the authorities.
Drops two pennies on the table.
I think people should be able to do whatever they want, as long as they aren't hurting anyone else. So I am for it.
Theyre personal choices so I feel indifferent about them. Oh and moderation is key I guess.
The only thing I dont get is smoking cigarettes. The fumes smell terrible, at least marijuana smoke has an almost aromatic smell to it....
As a straight edger of 8 years... Pretty against them. Each to their own though, I guess. Just makes me sad when drink and drugs are directly responsible for hurting families and putting people in danger. We've only got one life and it's an awesome one, I'd rather see it through sober eyes while I'm able.
I think cigarettes are gross, I'm too scared to try drugs, and the only alcohol that I drink is Land Shank and Corona, but I haven't had a drink in months. I do a lot of stupid shit when I get drunk and I don't want anyone wasting a good night looking after someone who can't handle liquor properly.
