6. I'm pretty thin...
And people, I don't care if you "Don't drink beer." If you drink wine, or Captain, or Jim Beam, just roughly estimate your breaking-point in "beer numbers."
How Many Beers Get You Drunk?(Stupid Drunk not Blackout Drunk)
Beer makes me ill. A girl bought me a can of Red Stripe once and I could barely keep it down. Classy.
16-20.
I did drink like a case of beer once by myself at some party, and that's like 30 beers.
And I couldn't feel a damn thing, untill it went outside in cold weather..
maybe 10, thought im 15 and pretty bulky
It all depends on the time period in which I drink those, do I eat, do I drrink water, am I mixing other bevrages
" Either everyone who comes into this thread has a different definition of "stupid drunk" (most likely the case) or a whole bunch of people are lying in an anonymous poll. P.S. if it takes you 20 beers to get drunk, you're likely an alcoholic. Seek help. "Or maybe there's only like very little alcohol in the beer around here.
Only like 4.7% alc.. That's nothing
" @End_Boss said:Exactly my thoughts. Only takes me 4-5 beers, but I'm drinking 8% and 9% ales, so that's 8-10 of a lesser, more watery beer." " @End_Boss said:It has a lot do with your size also. I'm 6'4 and last time i checked i weighed 212lbs. I normally drink around 13-15 beers on a regular partying night. But i can also push it to were i can drink almost an entire case." I normally don't drink beer at all." @ZeForgotten said:

I would rather have a bottle of Morgan, and perhaps some coke to go with that bottle sometimes.
But normally a bottle of Morgan is enough for me (When I drink it by myself of course, not when it's shared with like 10 people)
@zombie2011: That too, and also how fast you flush those down your drain.
If you take them all down in one go per beer, during the first 15 minutes of the party.
Then that would factor in a little too :P
" Beer makes me ill. A girl bought me a can of Red Stripe once and I could barely keep it down. Classy. "Aww man. Red Stripe is delicious. I wish they still played those commercials.
This one time I didn't eat anything and went camping with the boys. Took like 5 or 6 to get me going which is awesome since I'm a hefty guy but I later puked in my buddy's tent so not so good after all. On a normal night, between 9-12 is usually a good number for me. Most I ever drank was like 18, but that was a night to forget. Whew. I also like long walks on the beach and mahjong.

"Well, I'm assuming there are some exaggerations, but nevertheless, I wanna try to get a feel for the GiantBomber's tolerance.
" Anyone who voted 16-20 is either an alcoholic or is 13 and has never even tasted beer before. "And here I was thinking that you of all people were smarter than that.
When a beer (normal beer around here anyway) only contains 4.7% alc you would have to be a pussy or really not used to drinking not to be able to at least throw down 16 of those during a party.
But meh, I like people like you who can't drink much though, you're a hell of a lot cheaper to invite to parties, that's for sure :P
At 5% ABV, 16 beers is like having 24 ounces of 40% alcohol bourbon or vodka. That's a lot of alcohol.
So I will agree and say that yes, that is indeed a lot of alcohol.. Unless you're russian
I vote this poll invalid. I can drink six beers by myself and feel just a little buzz. With friends, six beers goes a long way. There's a certain psychology that goes along with drinking alcohol with friends or at a party. Never the less, I can drink a shit load of beer, it's the shots that kill me.
" Back in high school, I drank 18 beers, puked, and passed out. Looking back... High school was awful. "But i bet you were considered a cool guy for doing so ;)
I prefer pints over canned beer, which explains why it costs so damn much when I go out with my buddies. Don't know if I've ever been "stupid drunk", since I usually don't have more than 2-3 pints.
Edit: Canadian beer.
The only time I've ever been dizzy/had trouble walking straight, was in Japan when I had 2 sizeable mugs (maybe 1L each) of Asahi and some sake. My cousin and I were going to bike home after sobering up a bit, but my bike broke and we had to walk.
