I'm watching it right now and I'm realizing... god this movie is just so awesome. But I want a sequel to this, it's a comedy so why can't they make one? And hell they can bring the other dude back from the dead being that once again... it's a damn comedy and random crap can happen. Idk... I just want another one.
Either that or we need another zombie comedy movie.
Oh and last but not least I'm sooo watching this movie on Christmas eve.
How much do you love Shawn of the Dead?
Enough to know that his name isn't Shawn :D
But on the serious side of things, I liked it a lot and I usually watch it at least 2 times a year =D
ShaUn of the Dead is a fantastic film. Hot Fuz is a fantastic film.
Hollywood make Simon Pegg and Nick Frost The Movie. GO!!!!
I love it a lot as well
so many references well placed and I just love the stuff the Spaced guys do.

that's the score Jeff's dad gave to Candyland
" @ZeForgotten: @galfisk: Sorry I spelled it wrong. But I redeemed myself by making myself some fried noodles and getting myself a Monster drink, skipping school, and still am in my morning clothes. Now I'm gonna just sit back and enjoy my day off. "Iiii'm just messing with you.
But indeed you did redeem yourself but not 100%.
You're in your morning clothes, even when the right thing to do is walk around naked!
" I love it up until they reach the pub. On the other hand, Zombieland was good til the credits. "But... But this happens :( ... :
I remember enjoying it even more because Queen is my absolute favorite band. =D
I love Shaun of the Dead and I think it's one of the better movies in that genre. But Hot Fuzz is just so incredibly hilarious, particularly when shit gets real in the second half of the movie.
They're (and by they, I mean Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) making a third (supposedly final) movie in their "trilogy," which I think is supposed to release next year. Hot Fuzz is equally awesome, and I'll even go as far to say that Run Fatboy Run is an awesome movie for what it is (more of a feel good, family comedy). That movie also stars Simon Pegg, but it doesn't have Nick Frost, and I feel that they're at their best when together.
Also, watch Spaced. It was a Brittish sitcom also starring to two, and pretty weird/funny. A number of the jokes they use in the movies come from that show.
I liked the first third quite a lot, the whole "there is zombies everywhere but the characters don't notice or care" thing, but there was too much British humor later on to be funny.
" @buzz_clik said:Agreed, I'm so going to see that movie now." @Gunner: Dude, spoilers! "hes part of the cast dude! Besides, that part needs to be spoiled! BILL FUCKING MURRAY! "
how can you not like a movie were people get hit with darts and keep going." @EVO said:

Horrible quality I know, but the first time I saw that scene it has been my Zombie, Undead and Infected-killing theme. I remember enjoying it even more because Queen is my absolute favorite band. =D "
i really like the movie. it is a very funny movie. i actually bought it on bluray over the summer for like $10 at best buy. i wanted a different ending. i think it would be funny if they all turned into zombies and their lifes were the same only they were zombies. it would have been better i think instead of his friend just being a zombie and being a pet.
Meh, it was mediocre at best. Sorry. But the comedy aspect of it was not my thing.
It was a good zombie flick though.
This, a million times this. Its my favourite comedy outside of Fr. Ted and Black Books (which you should also watch, Simon Pegg is even in a few episodes of Black Books and his character is called Evan but is a total prick so I'm not sure how I feel about him in it ) so full of references and even quite a few gaming ones. The Tomb Raider one is my favourite "Something about a key, you can't shoot straight you big titted bitch". QUALITY!Also, watch Spaced. It was a Brittish sitcom also starring to two, and pretty weird/funny. A number of the jokes they use come from that show. "
Shaun, Hot Fuzz and especially Spaced are really top notch comedy. I may have to do a marathon of the two films and the whole series now that I have time off, it would be an almost perfect storm of comedy.
