How old were you when you got your first part-time job?

I'm just curious to see at what age you guys got your first part-time jobs.  It'd also be cool to hear about what those jobs were.
 
I've not had one yet, but that'll probably change sooner than later.    

Fourteen.  I worked in a comic store for the summer!

I think I was 16, in a storage. My job was to put the stickers on the products. Until that day I was absolutely sure it was machines that did that. That is also the day I raised my ambitions by a 99%.

I'm 18 and currently looking. God damn it's hard to find motivation.

I had a paper round when I was 14 but I quit because it was stupid. I started working part-time as a waiter in Pizza Hut when I was 16. I'm 18 now and still work there, leaving in September though to go to university. :)

Just turned 18, it's about time I worked, so I'm getting a job for the Summer.

15. Selling Pork and stuffing baps at christmas.

I was 16. I worked at a fish hatchery. People fish at our ponds, bring in the fish, and I gut and ice them. I was only working the weekends. Sad part is that I was only able to go out on the weekends because that's the only time I had. So every time I take out my girlfriend at the time, I would smell like fish.

I washed dishes at 14 until I moved at 16ish. I picked up at a Dairy Queen, and I'll be there until i quit t go to University in the fall

I'm 19, never worked a real job before. Did do this type of internship when I was 13.

Pretty sure it was 13.  My dads friend owned a deli so I basically just swept the floors and stuff like that.  I only did it like 1 day a week. 

I might start working with my dad on Monday, and I'm 17. Not too sure what's happening yet.

14.  Worked at the local newspaper doing telemarketing.  It sucked, but I made a shitload of money for a 14 year old!

13, for a year, then nothing since.

17 when i got my part time job. i gave people soft serve icecream and washed dishes. it was alright but long hours. i would work like 17 hour shifts sometimes.

15 at a pizza shop for 3 years, now I'm working at a Game shop I've been there around 7 months

15 was my actual job, but I had little jobs before that.

17 and haven't had a job since (21 now).  It seems like in this economy the only way to get a job is connections or a lot of experience.

18. It was a decent first job at the census.

I would have been about 10 or 11. I got a job at the local deli stocking. I did that for about 4 or 5 years until my family moved and I got a job at a butchers which I did for about 3 years. Then I worked one year doing entrees and desserts at a restaurant where I also dish pigged a little. That was the end of my part time career when I finished school/ bumming around and got a full time job.

I worked in a movie theater when I was 16. Really shitty job.

a couple of weeks after my 16th birthday.

17 started working at a local bar doing dishes and making  coffees and such.

Petco. I was 19 or 20 I think. I remember when I was getting some bugs for a customer to feed his snake and my manager was there with me. He was like.. 30? Anyways.. he was telling my about a girl that worked with him who i was say 15? and she flashed him in the bug room with him. I was just.. "ooh... cool man..." yea.. pretty damn weird.

I was 15 and worked for Subway. It paid minimum wage, but it was hard to get a job when you were 15. Now it's harder.
