Poll How would you rate Star Trek: Discovery (51 votes)

10 - Awesome!! Best Star Trek ever! ( from what I have seen so far) 2%
9 - Great! Great start for the show! Should be one of the best! 6%
8 - Very Good! Had some really great moments. Looking good! 22%
7 - Good! Not as good as the other Star Trek shows (or at least most of them) but some potential! 12%
6. Pretty Good - Not sure. Looks decent and some good moments! 18%
5. OK - Not really feeling it either way. Wasn't great and wasn't terrible. 20%
4. So So - Really thought it was Meh! 10%
3. Not Good - Really disliked the characters or story and seemed overall not very good! 10%
2. Not Good At All - Really hated the characters and story. Won't have future! 0%
1. Terrible - No redeeming values at all. Not worthy of the Star Trek name! 2%

I thought the special effects were great and looked great but the characters felt flat and just seems antiseptic. Not sure what it is. Also, too much Klingon talk and lore. Didn't like their new look either.

The first episode that went out over the air created a bad first impression, I think. The second one tied up a lot of threads I thought for sure would be going on all season. These first two were clearly a prologue for the real plot arc. The show sits too much in the shadow of JJ's reboot universe (which it isn't even technically in), and attempting to copy the feel of Zachary Quinto's Spock with Michael is an uninspired idea at best.

Nevertheless, I remain optimistic. Will see how this first season plays out. 6/10

On that scale I would probably rate it a 4. I thought it was below average. Not terrible or really bad, but just not doing anything for me either. That said we are just 2 episodes in.

I would rate it 0 Subscriptions to All Access out of 10,000 Nopes.

For once I am glad I am in Canada and can watch a thing on TV. Super pissed at Cartoon Network Canada for not airing new episodes of Samurai Jack and Rick and Morty. But Star Trek Discovery can be watched on regular ass TV here (Space). My sympathies, Americans.

I enjoyed the show, not sure where it's going, but I'm looking forward to keep watching. Gave it an 8 on this scale.

Also, people should be watching The Orville. If you dropped out after the mediocre pilot, it gets MUCH better.

Could you add a "haven't seen it but want to know" option?
