So I was just sitting here, browsing Giant Bomb, when a large flying insect on its last legs (or wings, in this case) buzzing around the room crashed into the wall and fell right into the paper feed of my printer as it keeled over. There weren't many pages left in there, so the little bugger managed to get pretty pretty deep where I can't reach him.
I'm really not sure what to make of this. I printed out a page as a test and it worked, but I don't know if it'll cause problems in the future and I have no way of opening up the printer to get at its new tenant.
Not that I expect anyone here to be able to offer help, but damn. What are the odds?
I don't think tech support is going to be able to help this.
" @natetodamax said:" Just say your printer malfunctioned because of a bug. Hehe, get it. "I know. It strikes me as ironic. "
why?
" wow i would say it will work just fine. have u tried opening it up where u put in the cartridges? maybe the bug went in there. funny stuff that it happened to fly in the printer. "No, that doesn't work. The cartridge hatch is separated from the paper feed, which is where the bug fell.
"Yuck. What the hell were you thinking printing a page? Who knows what a mess that bug has been made into now? I don't wanna be the guy who opens it up to see what's wrong... "
yeh it could be quite a fuckin mess. more like a piece of fucking shit printer wouldnt ya say?
" @natetodamax said:Sucks that you have a cricket colony in your printer :P."Just say your printer malfunctioned because of a bug. Hehe, get it. "*crickets* "
The irony. This must be the first case were life imitates language. It's quite poetic in a tragic way.
" @oldschool: Seriously, fuck you. Now I won't sleep tonight. "Sorry ^-^
I have been using my laptop when a a small spider ran across it. Before I could flick it of, it went inside the computer. It isn't like a tarantula can take up residence! Unless your computer is from 1982.
The term bugs comes really from that akward situation. In the early computers, as they took over a large division, many bugs would get attracted to the heat emanated from it, and would take up residence on the computer, and cause it to malfunction." The irony. This must be the first case were life imitates language. It's quite poetic in a tragic way. "

Cheers and good luck
