I hate jumping in to a topic with 150+ comments.

I love forums. You get to mouth off and write any ol' bullshit that comes in to your mind with half the consequences of a face-to-face social interaction. However, the substance and heft of whatever I'm writing only means something to me if someone else reads it and thinks about it. Knowing my own habits, it seems unlikely that most people read much past the first few pages of comments. Also, the chances of someone else already making the same point you were going to are high in a topic with lots of existing discussion.

There was a topic about this awhile ago actually.  I think people generally agree with you.

I try to read every comment but sometimes there is a ridiculous amount of comments so I just read a few from each page... I tend to think of it as everyone probably cared about what they wrote so they deserve at least one read...

I'm with you, when a topic gains to many comments I will stop reading unless it is something I find particularly interesting.

Sometimes, I think it's more interesting to just read through what a whole bunch of other people had to say about something.

What you do is post a few lines of trash talk, leave and be ignored on a daily basis. i have yet to see someone reply to one of your posts or call you a troll.. you just don't qualify as one.

so let me describe the tone of said post : it wasn't a riled up post, it had a tone of amusement where i mocked you ^^

You don't seem to understand that when my posts are lacked with mocking vibes, sarcasm and irony, mocking the mocker becomes moot. It played into his hands.

In my previous post I just trolled you without even trying. And that's the beauty of how I word many of my posts, lace them with such sarcasm and irony that even if you agree or disagree, I win. The argument becomes irrelevant because the starting point is founded on such absurdity. 

Remember this young Ahmad, if you post with such irony and sarcasm you literally become untouchable, no one can possibly retort to any of your posts with a sensible post. Doing so only makes the retorter look foolish.

And the longer this conversation goes on, the longer that the argument continues only reinforces my original post, that being, that I am a troll and I have trolled you. And therein lies the irony of this conversation we're having right now.

Most of the time I rarely look beyond the first page of a thread unless it's one that is of interest to me, or it is discussion rather than response to one particular post.

I am here to be a golden brick on the shining road towards 150 posts.

A 1 minute post isn't exactly a long time. And I never said I never try when trolling. Trolling requires effort sometimes.

What I actually said was 'I didn't even try in my original post'. Which was written with about 10 seconds thought, with barely 2 sentences. Not much effort went into that particular post.

Somehow you've just proven why you shouldn't enter threads late on with ongoing conversations. Ironic, eh?

Wow.. you're actually quite right.  My loathing for your pointless spam on this website aside, i admire how you actually realize that you have your head up your ass, that it makes you untouchable, and that you enjoy it! (One is untouchable when others can't convince him or prove to him or show him that he's wrong/full of shit/etc, and the irony/sarcasm you constantly use makes you seem like you are simply immune to seeing what others are trying to show you, therefore you're untouchable)
