No sane person is against breastfeeding, but it's supposed to end at a certain point. Like Jeff Green basically said, if the kid is walking and talking, he should not be sucking on his mom's tits anymore.
So what age is too late? When do you think kids are walking and talking? My daughter walked and talked before 1 year old. That's too late?
There's nothing sexualized to a baby/toddler about breastfeeding. It's where they get food. It's better for them than other food... so they should not be healthy because people without kids are weird about it?

As I indicated in my previous post, I think too late is when they start to develop memories that they'll have for the rest of their lives. For me, and for a lot of other people I would assume, that age is about three. Granted, I'm no expert on the subject, but it seems like that would result in some weird psychological business later on when they're going through puberty or when they actually come into contact with breasts in a sexual context. Then again, maybe that's just Freudian bullshit misinforming my intuition, and that kid will grow up to be perfectly well adjusted.
@Shuborno: The cut off should definitely be when they're starting to have memories. My mother's a lovely woman but I do not need to have the image of me leeching life juices from her bare chest for the rest of my life. My earliest memories are at the age of 3. My child WILL be removed from the breast before then.
