I totally marathoned an entire 24 episode anime in 24 hours

If I could, I would watch a bunch of Case Closed episodes in a day but that ain't a good idea for now.

Wow that's awesome dude. Congrats! I haven't ever marathoned an anime but always thought about it . ..

Just finished watching Toradora! over a period of two days. I did the same with Elfen Lied a while back. 

I watched 40 or so episodes of Gundam Seed in 3 or 4 days. That was a lot of anime, but totally worth it.

Welcome to the club. I went through about 3 series in one weekend. I don't remember everything I watched then, but I do know School Days (12 episodes), Suzuka (26 episodes), and Rumbling Hearts (14 episodes) were part of the marathon. Still not sure why I went on a romance binge that weekend. I usually burn thru a 12 episode show in an afternoon and a 24-26 episode show in a day assuming I literally have nothing else at all I want to do that day.
 
Oh yeah, School Days is fucked up.

I watched the 72 episodes of Monster in roughly 8 to 12 hour blocks over the course of about a week. I've watched some TV seasons in one sitting like Entourage and Weeds, but that was still only maybe 8 hours each if that. 24 straight hours . . . props dude.

For Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and Hunter x Hunter, I would watch about 30+ episodes at a time till the Episodes I've got. Start hearing everything in Japanese the next day every time.

Whenever I buy an anime series, I try to watch them all back to back. That way it's like one looooooooong movie and usually 9 times out of 10 I end up loving it.

I used to only Marathon run any  anime/movie series/TV series that I watched, because I hated waiting for new episodes to come out. There was always something lost in waiting a week or more for a new episode to come out that kind of took away from the show. However I seem to have lost the patience to do so as I have not been able to do any thing like that in the better part of a year.
 
Although to be honest, the last year has been dedicated to watching every episode of every Star Trek series every made followed by M*A*S*H*. The Star Trek run took me the better part of 6-7 months and M*A*S*H* has been a few months and I'm half way through season 9 of 11 or 12 seasons. Short of Dexter, Breaking Bad and Band of Brothers, I don't think I have ever watched a series that was this consistently good every episode. And none of those have gone this long yet.

How long was that? I've heard a lot about that anime. What is it even about?

My attention span would never allow me to do that.

No anime marathons, but I have finished Persona 4 in 7 days, which is a) close enough and b) madness.
