In honor of Cinco de Mayo, what class did you take in high school?

I took some Spanish my Sophomore year, but I forgot it all already.  It would have helped if I used it more often.

I didn't take another language, It's not mandatory in the UK, you can drop that shit at Year 10.

I took French because it was that or Spanish. But to be franklin, I would've loved to do Japanese. I guess that's why I'm learning it now.

i took japanese. i tried spanish but my teacher sucked balls so i and half the class dropped the class after the first semester

French. It's our second official language.

Spanish because I live in Canada and French sucks balls.

I took German in Junior High and im going to take Finnish when I start High School (Or the swedish equivalent of that).

What does this have to do with Cinco de Mayo? Anyway, I took Spanish, because I tried French and hated it. Now I'm nearly a fluent Spanish speaker, so that's awesome.

3 years of Latin and 1 year of Russian.

French. I absolutely hate the Spanish language. I also can't stand Spanish accents.

I was home schooled for high school but I learned a good bit of German during those 3 years.

French. I didn't even realize my school taught Spanish till I was done with the second language requirement.

I took French because I have to and avoided Spanish because I hate their accents... and also took Japanese for a year

Uh none?  Maybe I am ancient or something but when I was in highschool you were not required to take a foreign language and since where I lived pretty much everyone spoke english and almost no one spoke anything else I didn't see the point.

Je prend francisais parce que c'est très cool et l'espagnol et très stupide.
Aussi, francisais est facile.

I take Spanish class because its mandatory in my school.

2 years of German, because I didn't want to take more Spanish after middle school...

German, French, Japanese and English.
 
Gonna start Spanish in a month (though no longer highschool)

French because I appreciate the culture / liked the teachers / didn't want to take any other language

Spanish or French were the only options. Went with Spanish cause I started learning it in like 3rd Grade from some lady that would teach my class randomly.

Latin, because it's the shit.
 
Oh, look at that, first vote for Latin.  Now I feel all special and everything.

Spanish for 3 years, then I celebrated the fact that I wouldn't have to take Spanish ever again! 
 
Then I realized that you had to take 2 years of a language to be an English major. So then I took Spanish again.

French, was pretty much mandatory till high school. wasn't my cup of tea though.

I picked other because I never took any language classes in High School. Also, Spanish and  Latin aren't common in Canada... At least in the prairies, anyhow!

I would say A, but I didn't vote because I took it because I wanted to.
 
I took German for one year (it was fucking awesome btw) and Spanish for two. Don't remember much of either (even though I'm half Mexican...), but learning German was way easier than Spanish (even though I spoke almost perfect Spanish when I was like, eight or so).

German.

French, because I could.

French, because I was bilingual before I even took French with Spanish >:)

i took an intro to languages class to fill the requirement to graduate but it was pretty much intro to german

Two years of Spanish and I don't remember a damned thing.  Useless, but it was a requirement.

I would never take Spanish. It's a terrible language. Sounds... ugh.

I took Spanish because there wasn't much other choice.

I took Spanish for two years...but only because my school dropped it's Hawaiian language program and dumped everyone in the class into Spanish.  That one year of Hawaiian was fun though.
