No, it's just changing, now it's more about candyflipping than trick or treating.

Pretty big in my neighborhood. Heck, one family even set up a haunted house outside their homes. There were households getting together with bowls of candy on tables in front of their house and one epic Mike Myers themed home on me and my friends route. It all depends on the neighborhood.

It doesn't seem like kids are as excited for it anymore, but maybe that's because I'm not around small children much.

Halloween wasn't as great as it was two year ago in my neighborhood but it's defiantly not dying out.

Not at all... I had 42 kids this year, up from 35 last year. There are some slow years but it always picks up.

My town only allowed 1 night of trick-or-treating. So yes.

It is where I live at least. I'm noticing less and less of trick or treaters every year; this year we only had 2 groups at our door.

I had 110 kids come by. Which is lower then the 200+ last year, but I think it just means the people on your area are growing up and no longer trick or treating.

Trick-or-treating may be dying out but Halloween as a holiday is growing as an opportunity to socialize/party.  It's one of the few non-religious holidays of the year and people are latching onto that.

Same here and there are kids in the neighborhood.  When I was a tyke, there would be bunches of kids ringing the doorbell for hours each wanting a handful of candy.  Now, nary a whisper from anyone.  I think parents that choose to celebrate Halloween are now taking their kids to supervised Halloween parties as opposed to the old door-to-door trick-or-treating.  Maybe it's fear of razorblades in the offerings, getting hit by a car or  pedophiles, but for whatever reason I think parents are changing the habits of the holiday.
