I know, this sounds weird -- but I have been on a Giant Bombcast binge and am listening to each one since the start of Arrow Pointing Down and Giant Bomb. There is something I can't help but notice - does Vinny Caravella get talked down to whenever he brings something up? I mean don't get me wrong, I love Vinny and I'm sure the Giant Bomb crew does too - but every time Vinny brings something up, it's like the reaction is always dark towards him.
Does anyone else notice this or am I going nuckin' futs?
Vinny is easily my favorite member of the GB crew, but yeah I feel that he does get a little marginalized sometimes. I think it's due to the fact that back in the GS days, he was a "new" guy compared to Brad, Ryan and Jeff who had been there a while already.
I dislike Vinny. I have for a long time, and I don't think it's personal. He seems like a great guy, but like Garnett Lee, previously of the 1UP podcast, I just hate how he acts. I'm not a fan of his humor, mostly. I think I'm just a sulky bastard, but I'd rather have him off the podcast.
With all due respect. This is just my opinion, and I'm sure nobody else wants him off.

It's true, Ryan and Brad are mortal enemies, and fight to the death on a regular basis.

It's all evident in the New Super Mario Brothers Wii Quick Look. They all practically want each other to die. I wouldn't be surprised if this site fell apart before March.

To be honest, if anyone gets shot down it's Brad. But I think thats more because some members of the cast have a more dominant personality when it comes to expressing opinion. Not out of any petty dislike. (Though I can totally see where the Ryan hating Brad thing comes from)
You guys misunderstand the situation. Vinny has a less assertive way of speaking and the group takes advantage of that for the fun of it. It's not serious or bullying as some people seem to believe here. The same has been asked about Brad a few times.

I remember when Naruto Ninja Storm came out, Vinny wanted to speak about him playing it during the weekend and Ryan just didn't allow him to speak, that was very unfair and impolite from Ryan
Jeff has hit ryan though. See the Wii sports resort quicklook. This is where all these theories originate from - after that incident Jeff and Ryan have tried to get Brad and Vinney on their own respective sides. Little do they know though that Dave has been moving in the background as well as witnessed by that one take-over video he posted. What makes the situation even more complicated is that Drew is another political entinity himself, as are the other Wiskey Media guys (although they may be allied to Dave).
Things got a little more crazy when Ryan grafted Rich Gallups arm onto himself to improve his bombcasting and hosting skills. This however has left him with a slight split personality. Jeff meanwhile has been trying to gather more PMCs to his cause as witnessed on last week's Kotaku radio showwhere he mentioned hiring new members of staff. PMCs, and Bombcasts, and Lucha-deer-GEAR, and PMCs and Bombs and quicklooks and PMCs and Lucha-GEARS. Bombcasting has changed....
Dude, Vinny is THE man. He's the whole reason I watched the Persona 4 Endurance Run, I love his commentary. Although, now that you mention it, I just don't think the rest of the crew like his humour so much. But it's cool, I think Vinny remains unphased by all that.

Exactly what i think. also Vinny's always happy demeanor is fun for them to poke fun at and Brad cannot do a QL and talk at the same time(even though they seem to be making him do it every time these days.
