I think it also has something to do with Vinny having, and knowing he has, generally different gaming preferences than the other 3...For instance, he seems to have a much more serious affinity for the crazy complicated RPGs, and devoting more time to things like MMOs.
I'm not saying anyone doesn't like him or anything, for me this has just always explained why he usually doesn't mind rolling over on gaming debates.
Is Vinny treated unfairly or belittled?
@rmillz87: He has played Machinarium which is pronounced Machin-airy-um not mackin, machin like machine except without the 'e' so the 'I' has more stress on it.
I don't think so. Vinny's more outspoken now than when he started, that's probably the difference you've noticed.
" I dislike Vinny. I have for a long time, and I don't think it's personal. He seems like a great guy, but like Garnett Lee, previously of the 1UP podcast, I just hate how he acts. I'm not a fan of his humor, mostly. I think I'm just a sulky bastard, but I'd rather have him off the podcast. With all due respect. This is just my opinion, and I'm sure nobody else wants him off. "Garnett Lee drives me up the wall sometimes, especially when he acts like he's on frickin' talk radio. I also find myself violently disagreeing with his opinions about 90% of the time.
Vinny on the other hand is wonderful. If I was a woman, I'd gladly have his children.
Vinny is certainly the least assertive of the four. Ryan is the most I would say, followed by Jeff, and then Brad. I kind of see it as Ryan and Jeff being the big bullies, and Vinny and Brad being more submissive. Just listen to the GOTY deliberations.
