so WrestleMania was in MSG. WrestleMania X was in MSG. WrestleMania XX was in MSG.
Why the fuck is WrestleMania XXX not in MSG?

@drx25: Could you post the point totals for the Chamber predictions as well?
WWE Logic: CM Punk is the longest reigning champion in modern history. "Yeah, lets not bother with a new belt design"
*rocky shows up after filming a movie*
"Here is your belt rocky!"
Fuck you, WWE
Oh, not saying its the worst belt design ever but I just can't stand Rocky coming out of nowhere and upstaging Punk after he just came off the longest reign in modern history.
One last post/thought before I head to bed tonight. If the WWE and 2K games wants me to buy WWE 14' or whatever the fuck they are going to call it I want a dedicated fucking button on the controller that when I press it the lights go out and the shield shows up and murders people. Now, I bid you goodnight. *collapses in a unconscious heap*
As resident belt designer of the LoC I feel obliged to weigh in about this new title.
Is it better than the old belt? Yes. Is it a good belt? It's decent. I'm surprised to see that it is pretty much exactly the leaked plate design that came out a while ago. I thought for sure that it would end up being just one plate of a multilayered design. I'm a little disappointed to see that it's very similar to the US title shape and that it still has a LOT of bling. I like my belts to have just a dash of gem encrustations, not bedazzled to shit like some 4th grade girl's jeans.
Speaking of plates I'm interested to see what this custom side plate business you all are talking about. I have not seen Raw yet. But if it is what it sounds like I don't know how that will work out. Designing plates take time and if anyone ever gets injured or they change their minds and give the belt to someone on short notice what do they do? Are they going to make side plates for everyone on staff? Does that mean spinner plates could live on with the JTG side plates? I don't know. All I'm saying is that they could be setting them selves up for some head aches.
Also the fact that they went with the single plate design as opposed to a layered one is weird, and on top of that the giant amounts of negative space make it look kind of cheap to me. I'm just looking at a picture but the title seems to have little to no depth to it. Look at the TNA title or even the UFC titles. The have subtle 3D elements to them that give them some style. This looks mostly flat. It could be just the image I'm looking at. Maybe it looks better on TV. This could be because of their new side plate ID plan. Making simple flat plates is a hell of a lot easier and cheaper.
I like that it is bigger though. The WHC was always kind of a monster compared to the rest of the titles but now that this one is bigger, it's like "ALL THE TOP TITLES MUST BE GIANT BECAUSE THEY ARE TOP TITLES." Finally, and this is a small thing, I like that it says "champion" and that it is written out on a V shape. I don't know why, it just looks nice to me.
I have to say, I find the look of the new title kind of meh. It's not good, yet it's also not Jeff Hardy's belt level of bad. Maybe it's just that they chose fucking Rocky to unveil when Punk just had the longest reign in decades that rubs the me the wrong way. Whatever, I did not expect them to make a very good belt when you consider the last couple of belts they made.
In other news, Ricardo may be the best thing ever. He tweeted out this picture and it's absolutely amazing:
i think they would have the wwe plates on it as shown in the replica untill the personalised plates are ready.
Watching Raw, here's my take away -
Swagger's music is pretty awesome you guys. Zeb Colter really should have remarked about three of the five titles on the show being held by foreigners, not just Del Rio having the Heavyweight Championship (Cesaro has the US title and Barrett has the Intercontinental title. The tag titles are held by Bryan and Kane, and the Rock has the WWE title.) But his music is sweet.
Brad Maddox! Brad Maddox! Brad Maddox! Anything for him to get some more air time.
Cesaro is still pretty great.
The Rock is still pretty awful.
The Shield had a match! Holy crap! It was also a good match.
Something something, Randy Orton...he could go away and never return and I would be ok with it.
Poor Wade Barrett..
The new WWE title looks all right. It is a bit... blingy.. but, over all, it's still an improvement.
It seems like we could still end up with a triple threat match. I worry a little that it won't happen because The Rock would struggle even more in a match like that where he has to work with more than one person and he seems uncomfortable working a match at all anymore. But, it would give them better spots during the match over all as it would still let Rock catch his breath and not have to do a whole lot. Also, the kid screaming "WHY?!?!" when Punk attacked Cena at the end was HILARIOUS.
Ya know, the more I look at it, the more the new belt just looks plain boring, and that's saying something considering the amount of bling they've slapped on it. There's too much black leather showing through on the main plate. It looks more like a commemorative plate design than the most prestigious title in the company. I also think the bull side plates are a one off because hey, The Rock, and when he loses it, they'll just be the standard plates seen in the other pictures. I don't think it's worse than the spinner belt, but I don't think it's any better either.
I have always had this theory that the reason that Vince kept the spinner belt for so long was because it has his big fat logo taking up the entire face plate. In the summer when the pictures came out of a new design I feel like my theory was correct. In my opinion the belt looks shitty. Is it better than the spinner belt? Probably but not by much at all.
