I like his stuff but not enough to travel to New York just to see him...and besides since its his last show ticket prices are probably outrageously expensive and/or hard to find.
I can't afford it and don't live in America, but I'll be watching the live feed of it on pitchfork on saturday.
And yeah, love them to pieces. Its sad to see them go, but I'd prefer it this way. If Murphy doesn't want to do it anymore, he shouldn't have to. They've made 3 amazing albums. I wouldn't want them to go and tarnish their legacy by making a bunch of not as good/shit albums a la Oasis, REM etc etc.

I can't wait to watch the stream, it's going to be a 3-hour long show apparently! I'm so glad I managed to catch them on their last tour, I saw them in London last year.

End of an era, you guys. I'm sad, especially considering that I never, ever got a chance to see them live (they only came to my town once & I couldn't afford tickets), but hopefully their "last" show (never say never) will be a fitting farewell to one of the best bands of all time. Yes, I said that with a straight face.

Pitchfork said they don't plan to replay the show, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone archives it (illegally) or if LCD Soundsystem plan to sell the concert on DVD or something.

Honestly I would be surprised if a few hundred people DIDN'T archive it.
@artofwar420: Yeah, perfect choice, right? Methinks the reason they chose MSG to perform their last concert is to have an encore with "New York I Love You" as their farewell song. You basically HAVE to do it.

It was an amazing show; my friends and I were lucky enough to get a bunch of seats together during the pre-sale. I drove 500 miles this weekend, but it was worth it.
