The first episode of the series just aired on UK television, and I believe it started on September 28th in America. I personally think Little Britain should have stopped after the second series (while it was hilarious), but this was actually pretty funny. I understand it is getting very poor reviews in the US, probably because they don't understand the Brit's humour. Have you seen it, and if so what did you think?

Yeah, taking the piss out of Americans is what us British do best. This was very funny. I'd have rather they didn't use any of the old little britain characters though, and used completely new ones. The old ones stopped being funny a while ago.

Seen segments but this is not something I would want to watch. I know a lot of people here in the UK seem to love it so much, though.

British humour is great, but so much of Little Britain wasn't all that funny. The best comedy is subtle. Little Britain is not subtle it's over the top.

You suck if you dont like little Britain. Its awesome, and if you dont like British comedy because of the genre, then you need to stop catagorising things and try watching the damn thing, because like it or not, a lot of American shows actually come from Britain.

Wasn't Little Britain a location in the 3rd season of Arrested Development?

Have you seen the American adaptation of the British ripoff of Friends?

they had to make an American version of the office.

case closed.

It is true many of the subtleties of british (and Aus) humour dont tickle American audiences.

And vice versa.

it was funny when it came out first, but they kept doing new seasons and never changed the gags. the guy in the wheelchair, fat fighters, computer says no etc... its the same bloody sketch each time with some minor changes. cant watch the show now

Dudes in drag running around super fast with silly music in the background. I'll never get subtle British humor.

Well, despite the stereotype, we're not as ethnocentric as them.

You make an excellent point biff (as always) and I wish you'd have my babies (or I yours).

American humour is too crass and obvious.

British humour can be irritating but can be soooo funny at times.

Little Britain USA is quite good actually. Better than the last series.

I'm a big fan of Trigger Happy TV, Father Ted, and Coupling.  I've yet to see this, but I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah yeah!  I loved the costumed fights, like when the dog costumed guy is being chased by the cat costume.  It's just so funny and surreal.  I can't imagine seeing some of that stuff in person.
