Yup it is. Isn't that the one I showed you like a week ago? My memory is shit.

edit

I can take a pic of my 42 inch version of that tv if you want.

Yeah that's a good deal.  Same price I paid for mine, and it's a better brand then mine.  How many HDMI slots are on the back? Components?  Make sure to check all that stuff out first, otherwise it might not be a good deal.

We've got 8 of those here at work, and they are excellent.  Haven't had any problems with them at all.  Definitely pick it up.

Also, Stang...does your 42" Vizio have any problems with the sound going out?  I'm just curious, because sometimes it happens with the 8 we have up here, and I'm curious if it's just the model number itself or if it's all of them.

Coming from someone who works home theater, yeah it's a good deal.  And fyi you're almost always going to get a better deal at online shops like the one you're looking at then you would at Best Buy or wherever.  Plus that same size/type of tv in a more name brand (i.e. sony/samsung) would cost considerably more.  Looking good.

The resolution is a bit low on that thing... but then again, it's a TV, not a computer monitor.

I bought it last September at Costco.....$900! I am sorry, but I am not willing to pay $1500+ for a brand name so I can say I own an Aquos or whatever....Vizio is legit.

edit

@Metal Gear

That is on 720p by the way....I was too lazy to go to the dash and change it. You will be happy with your tv.

Vizios are pretty much Sony TVs, they're made by Sony, at least that's what I've heard.

If you're on a budget, it's quite alright. Though I would recommend Samsung, if you can afford it. If not, then certainly go for it.

This might take you some time, but I suggest you look up that TV in these forums and see what the people have to say about it:

Good deal, mate. Vizio is a solid brand that is reliable and has little problems. It may not be as technologically advanced as some high-class Pioneer or Samsung but you are going to get a good bang for buck ratio with that one. And you can't go wrong for under $400.

Funny enough, you can set it to 1080i and it will still run it.  1080p ain't gonna happen, though.

Also, Vizio is not part of Sony.  They are, however, the largest LCD TV seller in North America...and they are also based out of California with Taiwanese financing.

I'd be mostly worried about lag times, if it's under 8ms it's a good tv. Vizio has a habit of being crappy, no offense to Vizio users.
