I'm getting a bit tired of hearing the same 30 Christmas songs over and over again on the radio, so I thought this might make a fun thread for the holidays. I'm sure there are some great original songs and covers by somewhat more recent artists from the 90s and 2000s, but as much as I love Brenda Lee, I think I know most Christmas songs from the 50s and 60s. The newer tracks don't really gather as much attention, so maybe we can change that.
Please don't embed you tube videos, though. It tends to break the forum. Of course, links are very appreciated.
Low - Just Like Christmas
Fiona Apple - Please Come Home for Christmas
Dave Matthews Band - Christmas Song
Sarah McLachlan - O Holy Night
Aimee Mann and Michael Penn - Christmastime
And I know I said modern, but I just can't help but include this. I never hear it anywhere, and it's one of the best Christmas novelty songs ever.
Brenda Lee - I'm Going to Lasso Santa Claus
