Personally, I expected something much more epic for the final season. There has been some good stuff but not enough wow moments for me.

Yeah, I kinda felt that way about Season 5.  There would be all of this potential with what would happen in each episode, but sometimes an episode wouldn't live up to my expectations.  I'm still waiting for them to catch up to the raft shooting scene.  I think we'll get it in the finale.   I like Season 4 the most, with "The Constant" being the highpoint of that season.

@davwad2: Yeah, the constant is easily to best episode I think, but personally I thought season 3 was best.
Season 6 is really disappointing, it seems like they have this idea for the finale but don't know how to build the whole season up to it.

I'm reserving judgment until I have seen the whole thing.  I listen to "The Transmission" and "Jay and Jack" podcasts, and I'm always amazed when people call bashing what happens in a given episode.  If this were Heroes, I would understand.  I watched the first three seasons on DVD,  and enjoyed being able to watch them in succession.  I would agree with you on how they have this idea for the finale, but they are unsure of how to get there.    I do think though, that this show is proof positive that if network execs can leave TV producers alone, they can produce great stuff.  I think if they would have know from the beginning how many episodes they had to work with, this show could have been even better.  Like, the whole series in 108 episodes.  Like having the Oceanic Six's seats on the Flight 815 correspond to their numbers as seen in the cave and in the lighthouse.

Where is the option for its sucks but ill watch it because i watched the past 5 seasons hoping that they would finally reveal something about anything and you would think that during the last season they would try to tie up loose ends instead of ignoring half of the fiction they established and making a much stupider story line just because the fans already guessed what they were going to do and the writers only get off if they think no one knows wtf is going on?

ya, that one.
