Men's magazines and my wife

I know your not being honest by saying that you keep them for the articles. 

You do what you need to do, and be responsible for your actions whether you keep or don't keep the magazines.

Your brother-in-law is being disrespectful to your wife by not letting her decide what is right and wrong in your relationship.

If she were to ban you from reading magazines that would be disrespectful to you. Marriage is about accepting people, not changing them. If she's concerned about the kids finding them, that's a different, more practical issue. But what you read is your decision whether it's Playboy, Hustler, or CatFancy.

But I only have these magazines for the articles.

He's only a brother in law, you need to learn to start ignorning anything that isn't important.

Nothing wrong with Playboy or Maxim.  I've had subs to both in the past.  There is no porn in either mag, just nudes.   Playboy is honestly a let down photo-wise all the chicks look like they just got out of a Glamor Shots photo-shoot at the dirt mall.

First things first, What’s with all these advice threads popping up (not that there is anything wrong with that)
2nd This is off Tangent Why are we so Prudish. Geesus people Sex Is natural, even plants do the act of germination.
I LIKE sex, sex is good, The feeling of lust, wanting, waiting, and then when you come together and make like, (cause when you don’t love each other it's making like)

Why is sex so taboo still in this modern age? Advertising and media uses sex in everything Including the News and even kids clothing, we bring our kids up to watch ads that promote sex and then Hypercritically ask them for a pledge in abstinence even though it's proven that it exacerbates things, where the fuck is the logic in that?

Yeah while the line "I only read em for the articles" is a classic, In some cases it's true nowadays porn is every ware you got an internet connection you got porn, If you don’t have a safe search option on your search site you don’t even have to type in something sexual, enter a girls name in the search field and porn will come up.

Google brings out statistical info every year and some kind of pornography is always in the top ten searches Worldwide. Porn is accessible so a couple of nudie shots in a mag is kinda moot IMO.

The articles are actually very good, Denis Leary had a couple of very interesting interviews. the 20Q segment is very well done and actually informative, It's not automatically smut cause it appears in a wank-mag, Actually my ex gf used to buy a few because she liked some of the articles, she even recomended a few to my mum to read. I don’t buy mag's anymore Wether they be Time, OPSM, TopGear, (sometimes I am enticed to buy the occasional Empire mag if it's one of thoes 100 best editions) because the content is all on-line for free, although a good newspaper with brekie and a coffee aint bad once in awhile, but it's always yesterdays news.

Look if the missus has a problem COMMUNICATE and it disturbs me that the Bro-in-law is coming to you about this stuff, you need to know if she is talking to him about it, if so she aint coming to you first and that is a problem it means that the foundations are not strong enough for basic communication, it's all about communication.
